Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

No one has any input on my cloning solution recipe?

Thanks Giga for the cloning pre-soak idea, I may try it once I get better results in this DWC.

its sound awsome but I dont have a clue.
heck I did one clone for the heck of it and all I did was your willow water trick and a cup of water:) it worked but thats about as much as I have been into it:)
but I'am sure if you do it its the goodest way:)

Interesting... of course I'll have to do my own research to confirm... But thank you for the outside view of my thinking. I'm not too keen on yeasts in my reservoir, though. Granted it's not one of the main reservoirs, but still, can you imagine? Every time I check for roots one of my girls telling me it smells like beer?

please do. i havnt done any resarch on it at all really. ive just skimmed the cream of google and the general outlook is ok to good. its exactly these half baked theories we want to bring to 420 to run them through our collective braincloud and rank it accordingly ;)

Sorry bro, that cloning solution is still gobbldeegook to me. ive never seen ppm in action and never used ganja nutes or additives. im generic shop bought and now generic organic till i get my bearings on that front. its why i tout BPN so much. i dont really need to understand it myself yet but i can trust the word of our blue planet army

Hey Jandre, I'd weigh in more but you know my cloning method (rapid rooters). I don't have any good insight on bubble-cloner recipes, unfortunately. Sounds good though, IMO. I've used the homemade "Zone" product you mixed up from Corey's recipe - worked well for me. :thumb:

Hope you had a good weekend my friend! :)

Define good... I've had a headache since Friday, but have been controlling the other symptoms pretty well. Migraine pain is like no other. So many facets to each headache, that it's hard to pin down which medication will work for each one. But at least the lights, noise, and movement don't send me reeling, fleeing for a dark, quiet, still place in which to whimper like a child.

Yeah, I wish Twelve12 were still here. He was a DWC cloning GAWD and he used nothing but water. If I were growing larger plants, I might go back to rockwool root plugs, but running an SOG just takes SO MANY PLUGS! They're one-use-only, and that bugs the shit outa me.

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

Okay, so update...

Migraine is taking hold full bore. Resistant to treatment, it's holding on, and making my life a drag. Nonetheless, I have some pics.

New clones taken for attempt 3. Shape of mothers is grim. Trimming of poorly formed limbs, and cloning from the tops able to make an attempt, has left them looking a little better than they originally looked with the malformed limbs left on. Please refrain from jeering and sneering, and general jack-assery:)rofl:): I'm in the process of recovering from a faulty pH meter and this is the process. I am now sure that a Gen2 clone of these mothers is in order. As such, I will pick the strongest clone taken from these mothers to turn into my new mothers and these will either be flowered out, or tossed if structure is too poor.

Also, have some pics of those in the Cardboard Flower Box I took last night. Things are looking a hell of a lot better in there. I'm actually proud again of what I am doing in there. I still need to tweak some things, but here's what we have for now.

your girls big and little look awsome! I aint goin to make jokes with your head hurtin. thats to easy:) besides you would probly tear me a new rear exit point:)
anyway I hope these headaches quit soon bro. cant imagine a everyday non stop pain. well I could but I wont make your plight trivial.
hope you feel better soon and your girls grow beyond your dreams.

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

I've been working on a new cloning recipe for my situation. Can y'all take a look at this and tell me what you think?

Sounds good ... I have the best luck with rooting powder in peat pellets in a dome. I also use powder and a cup of water. I do not mist at all anymore. I know you will not use peat ... I also just pop them in water in the dome with rooting powder.

Jandre my friend. I'm so sorry your having headaches again. I could put the pain in your ass and then perhaps you wouldn't think of the headache? Just trying to help where I can :)

I have been having cloning issues as well lately. I have one strain of plants that have roots coming out of the rapid rooters and the rest? Nada, ziltch! Ah, the pains of growing. I wish you were here we could do some clone testing to figure out the best way so there would always be a 100% result

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

Sooo... I found more spider mites yesterday. Talked to my beloved, and she cringed. She asked if she could fave brought them home in her clothes.

About a week ago, she was tasked with moving some plants that had gotten spider mites really bad to a location away from the other plants... She said they were pretty bad, and their webbing on one plant had almost completely enveloped all the new growth.

I sighed, and told her that it's quite possible that they came from her.

Anyway, SNS to the rescue again. The hole house now smells like plant extracts. I used almost the whole 32 ounce bottle to completely cover K-8. These were some revegging Purple Wreck, gifted from a friend. I don't know if they're gonna make it or not, now.

Sounds like spidermite defence needs to become a lifestyle choice for you guys. i found this that may offer some ideas..i like the onion idea as you can eat them =)

There are certain plants that naturally repel spider mites, such as onions, chili, garlic, cloves, lavender, or coriander/cilantro. You can plant these nearby, or purchase sprays based on these plants. In addition, capsaicin is great at driving away spider mites and other insects. It is the active component of chili peppers, and is responsible for the hot sensation. Dusting your plants with this compound is a safe method that will secure them from infestation – it acts as a strong irritant to the mites while not affecting the plants.

Canna butter... High CBD...HIGH cessation of headaches. . . . . . . SNS... High mortality rate for mites...

That is all...
