Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

Alright, so here we are at the start of week 9...

Sweet! and I got to give you reps! (I wish every time I want to do it, it does it! I forget to try)

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

hey JD. remember my silly attempt to make roots by wrapping tissue around a stem?
well once i discovered it was a propper way to get roots and it had a name, i learned loads more about it.

im wondering, the way you grow with all your funky rooms, this may work for you too.

now this guide needs to be modified to you obviously, im thinking rockwool instead of moss e.t.c.

notice how unlike most examples which use scarification, this one half detaches the stem making the stem much more likely to panic and make roots.

Hey Jandre your using Vita Blue right? I'm about get some. --- states that it raises THC to 33%. Is that by using the whole line up or is there just a certain product that I can purchase from them? I want something that will make my buds crystallized

VitaBlue *IS NOT* for flower, and even says to stop using after 6 weeks into flower.

I would suggest that you use the Early Bloomer, and Liquid Blue for bulking up your buds in flower.
[TABLE="class: outer_border, width: 100%, align: left"]
[TR]
[TD]Early Bloomer is a specially formulated bloom booster designed to promote development of bud and flower formation during the early stages of the bloom cycle. Early Bloomer also contains a special ratio of micro-nutrients designed to optimize floral development in all flowering plants. Use in combination with Liquid Blue for maximum bud and flower development.

Early Bloomer is formulated for use in Hydroponics, Aeroponics, Coco Coir, Soil and all Soil-Less growing mediums.

Directions for use:
Shake well before using! Always add Early Bloomer to your reservoir after filling it with water.
For best results, use Early Bloomer with Liquid Blue with Blue Planet Nutrients 3-part or 2-part program. As a flowering supplement, start by adding 5 ml per gallon when the flowering cycle begins. Gradually increase the dose every week until you reach 8 ml per gallon. For a flowering supplement in soil, use Early Bloomer at 5 ml/gallon for smaller plants and up to 10 ml per gallon for larger plants (over 4 feet tall). In soil, feed with every other watering.

[TD]Liquid Blue is designed to maximize the fattening and hardening of buds by providing plants with a 1:4 of ratio of elemental Phosphorus to elemental Potassium.
Once a plant has fully transitioned into the flowering phase, and bud site development is maximized, a bloom booster with a 1:4 ratio of elemental phosphorus to elemental potassium is needed to produce more structurally sound buds (dense bud formation throughout the calyx cluster). This is where Liquid Blue comes into play. After the first half of the flower phase, growers should begin transitioning to a lower phosphorus (P) / higher potassium (K) bloom booster. Elevated levels of phosphorus are no longer needed to maximize development of bud sites but elevated levels of potassium is necessary to plump and harden buds and maximize the yield of high-value plants. Although Potassium does not form a structural part of any plant component or compound, It is required for various metabolic activities and physiological functions. It is agreed throughout the plant science community that elevated levels of potassium are unequivocally required for maximum yield of flowering plants.
Liquid Blue is formulated for use in all hydroponic, aeroponic, coir, soil, and soil-less growing mediums.

Directions for use:
Shake well before using! Always add Liquid Blue to your reservoir after filling it with water.

For best results, use Liquid Blue with Blue Planet Nutrients 3-part or 2-part program. As a flowering supplement, start by adding 2 ml per gallon when the flowering cycle begins. Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

Blue Planet Nutrients was used in the filming of Savages which was directed by Oliver Stone. The growers, Ben and Chon, claimed to have grown buds with 33% THC. I state somewhere on my site that "Ben and Chon used BPN to grow buds with 33% THC". Savages is a fictitious movie. the amount of THC produced by a plant is based on its genetics and the talent of the individual grower and of course the food that the plants are fed which is a only 1/3 of the equation.

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

And there you have it! As far as getting 33% THC from your plants, BPN (or any nutrient line for that matter) will only get you 33% there! The other 66% is genetics, and the skill of the grower! Let that be a lesson to you.

The equation is this:

Genetics+Skill+the right food=killer bud!

-OR-

G+S+BPN=KGB

Thanks Jandre I was just talking to Corey so I'm putting in a order for all of that stuff you just mentioned except I'm going with his 2 part nutes

Welcome aboard the Blue Planet Nutrients train to success! That Blue Max is some good stuff, too, I lust like the 3-part. I understand it a little better than just 2. Better Control? meh... It's just what I use. Yours will work for you just as well!

Seriously? I love that movie. Good shit getting it featured in one of my fav new movies :thumb:

Yea I always used 2 part nutes. I cant wait. Its giving me enough time for everything to come at once. IDK how the mail will be running since its the holidays and then new years right around the corner? Maybe the beans and nutes will slip right in that 5 day period and I wont have to wait after the new year.

At 16 days, all but 3 cuttings had rooted. I knew those 3 wouldn't root though, but I attempted it anyway.

So for next cycle there are potentially:
10 Purple Mr. Nice
4 Lamb's Bread
3 Tangerine Dream
1 Green Fluffy Bunnies

And from last round of DWC cloning, there has been a Purple Widow limping along, and I've been attempting to nurse it to full health after nearly rotting in the DWC cloner waiting for better roots.

So potentially there are 19 for next round. Those will be narrowed further, and graded for flower time, and put into the box accordingly. PMrN, and GFB together, and TanD, LmBrd, and P.Wid together. We Shall see who is in 9-12 when the box is cleared enough for the next run. I'm proud to say that I have a full SOG of PMrN if it happens that way. Very please about that. Also, 100% of the TanD that I cut, rooted. SO THERE!

The three that I knew wouldn't root were weird cuttings of 1 PMrN, and 2 LmBrd, so those 3 hit the compost bin.

Re: Jandre2k3's Cardboard Flowerbox - 41 Week Perpetual SOG Part2 - Blue Planet Nutri

Sounds good jandre......I had faith you would be successful in getting them to root.... u da man!:high-five:

Hehe, more like "duh, man..." Leave it to me to try to change years of doing something one way and screw it up royally all for a larger bottom line. Well, I was just taught that the bottom line is not what's important, here. Quality, and quantity is. So... I'll stay with what I know for now, yeah?
