James' Soil - Multi-Strain 2012 Grow

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Will do!!:thumb:

This time around when I read the book it said to use the .4% for gnats. Since I was mixing it with the nutes for a soil drench I went with the .6% which was 1.5 TBS/gallon. I made 4 gallons... 6 TBS= 90 Ml... I gave them a total of 75 Ml.

I may be closer to the .4% than I thought which would have been 60 Ml.

Next spray time will be the pure azamax for foliar only! The book says for a light dose to use 2/3 to 2 TBS per gallon... I think I'll stick around the 2/3!!! Seems odd to me that the low end of the medium strength foliar feeding is the same strength as the highest drench???

medium foliar= 2 - 3 and 1/3 Tbs per gallon
.8% soil drench= 2 TBS/ gallon

As far as my nutrient foliars I use the same strength as I feed them in the soil, sometimes I'll mix 1/4 nutrient solution with 3/4 water to tone it down and make it last. The only burning I have found is on all the tips of Barbie. When her Ph was off and I fed her it burned all the tips. I have not seen any new or spreading burns.

The other reason I am spraying more now is I saw a few leaves that looked to have cal/mag issues. I added in some cal mag solution into the spray as well.

Clone update
I have them on 18/6. (on the bottom-->) The celeste clone on the right has just been topped, hoping to get 3 nice tops out of it. The Grape Ape is in the middle and the power kush on the left.

Here are the three clones that I have right now before finding them a new home and after:

This is the Grape Ape clone on 5/26/2012 and then on 5-30-2012:

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Great job with the clones. Huge difference in a few days. I see you used the rockwoll too. Last time is the first time I ever used that stuff for cloning. I have not seen anyone else use it for cloning. It works great.:goodjob:

I have re edited a few posts before with Miwas idea or comming up with a really stupid question!!. Too bad it is too late to edit. There is so much crap on the internet a double post really is not that big of a deal. :high-five:

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Thank you both very much Closet Farmer and Miwa!! I just wish my success rate were higher...

That grape ape took close to 2 weeks before it rooted but once it did it really went. I do like the rockwool however, I don't like needing to Ph soak it first and as I said I don't have a very high success rate. The Celeste clone was done in perlite and water and was rooted in 5 days, that was my favorite way of cloning.... too bad I can't do it again. I have 4 clones going now (2 cheese (1 perlite&water and 1 rockwool), and 2 love lettuce (aunt benice)) that have not been doing anything, I just put my thermometer back in there realizing I haven't checked it in a while and it was down at 50% humidty. So now I have that back up to 85% and we will see what happens in the next few days.

LOL, I have left a few of those dumb questions hanging out there. Think back later in the day and realize how dumb a question it really was!

:thanks: again:Namaste:

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Misty has been a very slower drinker. By the time the other are ready she is still heavy as could be. The Ph has been checked several times and is just a tad high at ~6.8. To try and help dry her out quicker I cut a 3"X3" hole on opposite sides and put in a mesh piece to hold the contents in. I was hoping it would work something like the Aurora pot but so far she is still the wettest one. I'll get pictures of the setup up soon as I can.

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Thank you corey, I am hoping to use the next day or two of being in the hospital to update the journal, the others are doing better and there are also some "pretty pictures" coming as soon as I get fully updated!!

The hospital is good news not bad, My wife gave birth to my second son Riley James this morning!!!:thumb:

As long as I have time between diapers and visitors I'll get this updated!!

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Aunt Bernice update....

Aunt bernice is growing the biggest, she is really healthy other than some yellowing which should be just about figured out now.
