James' Soil - Multi-Strain 2012 Grow

Hi Jim! :high-five:

Just been thinking.......soon.....you will harvest and will have a stash.......then you can wait and take samples right before you harvest and chop when they are ready. It's that first harvest that wears on your soul. :Namaste:

I know...I can't wait....even after the harvest I need to wait for dry and cure.....

The main reason I pulled these test buds are so I can see which strains I want to continue with. I have a Celeste and love lettuce clone going now and depending on the quality of them, I will either mother them or throw them into flower in the next week or so.

I am having a hell of a time cloning the cheese for some reason. I think my new plan may just be to flower it out then re-veg it into a mother!!!!

Hey jameswri85, I came over to take a look, and thought "Hey wow, COOL! He started His Plants when I did, at the beginning of April." Then I skip forward, and you are already WELL into Bud Stage, and I think, Damn the Hottest part of the Year Has not even gotten here yet, and I still have got like 3-4 months left to go, and I think You Lucky #!~@?ard! Your at my Favorite Time of the Plants Life Cycle already! Oh well, I guess every time of a Plants Life Cycle has it's Perks, it's all quite AMAZING! Anyways, great grow, it LOOKS LIKE CANDY, from SEES Candies, or some place like that. You'll probably be Harvesting again before I am! Oh well, at least We get to Harvest, so it ain't so Bad. Good Grow, will continue to keep up:welldone:. SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:blushsmile:.

Hi j85,

Nice pic/updates on all those girls....they look really good, nice job on the cropping.

Hey there James!!! :welcome::welcome:

I just started reading your journal the other day, only able to make it through the first page so far.
That is quite the garden you've got there!!! Looks amazing!!:bravo:

Thank you very much... this is now my favorite time as well.... until harvest that is!!

I just sampled each one and the love lettuce and celeste the unknown were 2 of the best if not the 2 best tasting weeds I've ever had!!!!! The cheese was good but not dry enough so it wasn't a fair test. I was looking to not grow the love lettuce again because of the major sativa part of it, however, it was the tastiest!!!! I figure to solve the size issue I will just flower them at 9-12". Being that they are fast growing and I can flower them that small it may even become a staple in the garden!!

Yea she kinda came outta nowhere on me!!! I haven't liked her much, she always stays wet for a real long time, grew kinda weird, and didn't look completely healthy. Now I like her way more than barbie (which was one of my favorites)!!! I'm looking forward to seeing how she fills in with just the couple colas, my other 2 love lettuces are are aunt bernice and barbie, both of which have quite a few tops.

I have replanted Misty into an aurora root pot and for the first time tomorrow she will be completely dry. I was suppose to water the others yesterday and today but just have not had the time and when I have the time I don't have the physical willingness. So all my other girls are dry and wilting from the bottom but misty is just now drying out, I'm hoping since this is the first time since the replant she will start drying out quicker so I don't need to feed them on different days.

Buddy, when you do harvest.....your going to be very happy! Good looking girls!:bravo:

When I did the replant I tried not to disrupt the roots, I just cut away the bag, knocked the sides off a little then dropped it into the new pot on top of a layer of perlite. The next time around I am going to add more perlite and less worm castings. :thanks: and +Reps for always being here to help.

OMM- Thank you very much, after trying the samples it's torturing me now! I want to smoke it all so bad. I keep telling myself for every gram I take now it could turn into an 1/8 later (probably not but it helps), so that's helping keep me from taking more samples until I see more milky trichs! +Reps to you as well for always being here and your awesome journals!
