James' Soil - Multi-Strain 2012 Grow

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

I had to steal the metal halide out of the bottom for another project:cheesygrinsmiley::slide:

I ended up changing my mind and it can go back in now. I am going to try and stand the light up this time. Last time the sides of the pots were getting way to hot.

I'm still about 2 weeks behind on posts. It will get updated soon so you can see the project!!

Yes! Those plants are filling out nice. Notice the hairs starting to change color and the buds are putting on some weight! I love this time of a plants life!! Great Job!

Plants are looking good J...look like that super crop worked out good on Barbie..its got some of her flowers growing vertical on their own instead of merging with other flowers to make a cola...i think a plant with separate flowers will be a better yielder...:goodjob:

I know.... I especially love the smell!

I just wish I knew how much more they are going to fill in. I have test buds picked out on each one, but every time I think about clipping them, they have new hairs on them!! They are also getting super sticky too!!

By looking in at my closet, it seems like I already have more smokeable weed this time then I had crap weed last time.:thumb:

Makes sense, with separate flowers you get light to all sides. In a cola you only get light on the outside of it....... Still.... Giant colas look pretty darn sweet!!!

My goal is 5 oz., (an O per plant) Hopefully I make that... The cheese may be a little iffy, as it is not as big as the others.

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

That seems to be a good rule to go by....

The pictures that are posted right now are week 3 flowering, tomorrow starts week 6 (~Day 35), so I still have a bit before I need to start watching them.

I just took a test off of Aunt Bernice (love lettuce) that was .78 wet.... not sure if I will even have enough for a bowl.

The cheese test was 1 gram on the dot.... .25 grams dry should be enough for a bowl

Celeste was 1.6, so hopefully almost 1/2 gram dry... maybe even enough to roll one!!
(Those are all trimmed weights)

Re: James' BPN Farmer's Pride Soil, Multi-strain 2012 Grow

Well the love lettuce is already down from .78 to .60 and the cheese is at .8 (down .2).

I found a few more Week 13 pictures.......

This is my Celeste clone that is a couple weeks old now and still has this and growing hairs but has been on 24/0 lighting....

I concur!! Nice and frosty looking buds! I like the idea of a bud test. I am going to do that next grow. Great way to test without commiting to the full chop!
:Namaste:

Thank you Thank you!!! both....

I have the celeste and cheese in my dry box slow drying and the love lettuce is on my cable box for the last 10 hours and now weighs .3 grams (was .78 after trim) It is still quite moist in the middle, the outside just a little dry. I am going to put it in a jar over night and then finish drying it tomorrow... It looks like it will be a tasty sample, I was not able to get an actual taste of this strain the last time I grew it. Between all the bugs, molds, quick dries, and other issues the taste was not good at all and the effects were very sub-par. I will finally be able to try it tomorrow though!!

I was able to shoot a picture of the Celeste in mid-dry:

Celeste smells super fruity/:yummy: I cannot place her smell, she is a seed from something that I have had (that's a pretty big list though) So excited to try this one....

Hope to finally be fully updated soon, I just got my week 14 pictures sorted and should be doing that update today/tomorrow. I am about 4 days into week 15 so we aren't that far behind now.

I am expecting the love lettuce sample to be ready at about .2 grams... just barely enough for a bowl. :slide:
I don't expect the quality to be amazing just yet, with about 25 days left to go it should still improve quite a bit. Plus the love lettuce is mainly sativa and the only info I can find on it says 9- 11 weeks (63-77 days), which could mean another 40 days to go!!!
