Have you smoked outdoor weed before, B? I had a small amount this year, better than anything i have ever grow indoors . I hope your outdoor girl makes it to harvest

Below is a post by my main man "The Spimpster" from my introduction thread on June 27, 2013; my third day on 420mag. I still follow these rules to this day.

Heres my top 5 beginers hints:
1. Dont love her to death. Too much water, too much nutes, too much anything shes dead. Water every time the pot feels light.
2. [Which I think should be #1]Dont tell anyone. When those buds look nice, even your best friend will steal from you.
3. READ READ READ. completed journals, how to's, whatever.
4. Provide lots on USEFULL info in the journal. If the good growers (not me) have to ask 50 q's to figure out a problem, they wll pass and move on.
5. TAKE IT SLOW. Any stress-defoliation,ph issues, nute issues, take a week to overcome. So too much too fast = dead.

I wish you good luck and I will help you if I can but Im just a noob. I read alot on here and can point you in the right direction.If you use the resources her wisely, you will be a grower before you know it!

I've never smoked outdoor weed before and I'm trying not to tell people but I already let it slip a few times she's about 2 week in bloom and she's not huge which is ok with me because I don't want her to be obvious from a distance. she lost everything below her tops because of the lack of rain. I was giving her a gallon of water every other day, but it just wasn't enough. luckily it rained and she's feeling good.

the hps girl is growing like crazy. I'll do an update on her tomorrow.

I know BAR has already pulled you on the loose lips sink ships argument. But a little story for you.....

In the small University town where my daughter is studying, a 24 year old supermarket security guard who liked to hang around with the University students, is arrested for raping a girl he claims he had consensual sex with. So he's there in the interrogation room being grilled by the LEO's and at a certain point he loses his temper and says to the policemen 'haven't you all got some real policing to do? There are people growing cannabis and selling drugs to the undergrads, and I am getting done because some stupid cow has got buyers remorse' unsurprisingly the popo immediately switch track and this guy throws two final year Law students under the bus by revealing the location of their grow. Both of them spent 18 months in gaol and off course they are never going to be able to work as lawyers in the UK even though they wrote their finals before the case came to trial. And oh by the way the security guard beat his rape charges and walked free.....

My daughter told me this story at Xmas last year when I told her about our grow, and was insistently trying to impress on her the importance of telling absolutely no one for whatever reason.

With most of the stuff I've done, I can tell a plant's either done or close to done stretching when the main stem (or biggest secondary colas if you top the plant) hardens all the way up to the top nodes. If I try to supercrop the space between nodes farthest up, it feels hard.
