Jack Herer & Panama Red In Doc's Hi Brix

I have one paname red that has the biggest colas I've ever seen. About half of width of a soda can and about the length of my forearm and very smelly.
All the others are very thin looking and lengthy. The jack herer is a bit disappointing but its still early in bloom.

Nice!

If it's real Jack Herer, it will come on strong at week 6 and onward. Let it go at least a week, better 2 weeks past breeder's recommendation. everything else looks fab.

Do you have Snake Oil? If not, next time you order, get a small bottle of it.....add 1/4 ounce to an ounce of Brix in a quart of water and use it once or twice on the taco-leaves.

BTW, you actually want those taco's.....it's not a deficiency, but a sign the plant is sprinting.

Nice doc, I never thought I'd be one of those guys with fake looking leaves. I do have snake oil, I've also ordered quarts of everything in the last month or so.

I showed the breeder some pics and he asked if he can use my plants during later bloom for his website.

Its jack herer from greenhouse seeds, not sensi seeds. Its not the original unfortunately

This jack is a bit lanky and wispy, not too sure on the smell yet.

I have 2 different panama red pheno's, one has colas the size of my forearm and leaning towards the Afghani side.
The other is very wispy and thin. Leaning mostly sativa. Both have a lemony smell. Below I included a description of the panama red from the breeder he sent me, in case anyone was interested..

I’ve experienced four dominant phenos from this line. Due to our open pollination breeding, we utilize multiple males in each run, only removing the males with undesirable traits. She is a reproduction of an old Afghani/Panama Red line that was cultivated here back in the late 70’s and throughout the 80’s. Similar in ways to the old NL/Colombian Gold that was going around back then, but different mainly in effect.

Most phenos you will encounter are going to be variations of the 4 main phenotypes, as you’ve already seen. The indica leaning plants will still have the effect of the Panama mother, but yield higher indoors, and have more “thickness” to the effect. The more Sativa leaning phenos will be quite psychedelic, and more mold resistant and higher yielding outdoors. But they’re all very limonene/musk/vanilla/fuel dominates terpene profiles. Just different combinations.

I pulled some plants out to look over and smell. Stoneymemoirs was right about the jack herer smelling like pine and very strong. My other panama that's favoring indica is very sweet and my sativa panama is very musky, not sure if I like it, very different.
I now have leaf curl on the jack herer, I'm thinking its nitrogen toxicity by the dark green. Pics below are in order as follows.
Jack herer, sativa panama, indica panama and then curled leaf of jack,
then close up of indica panama

Here's some pics, the panama are doing very nice except for one that is throwing its leaves. The one in the pic that looks like a missile is the jack herer. I just got 2 grape ape clones and I'm sprouting some seeds called state of jefferson its a cross of nor cal Afghani from the 70's and old Oregon trainwreck.

After that I'll grow the highland Thai.

Hey Cali! Looking great in here. That one cola is giving me a serious case of Bud Envy!

Doc uses an environmental controller, they controls temp, rh and co2.

LOL.. These are the biggest colas I've had, some are over 2ft long.. The down side is that these are going to take 12+ weeks to mature.

I am unable to use a controller for this unit, its 208v and the controller only controlls 120v. I think I'll just have to settle on having the temp the same always

You must be able to run it on thermostats, no? You should be able to set temps for multiple time periods. 12 weeks is going to make those colas massive! How many weeks are they now?

They're at the end of 6 weeks, all my other strains are getting close to finishing but these. 12 weeks may be over estimating, but comparing these to my 8 week ones it just seems like these will go on a long time.

I'm looking into whether I can wire in a thermostat, I'm thinking no since it has a wireless remote for it. I think I'm OK with the temp being the same, right now my tent doesn't have much fluctuation and they are doing OK. I'll call the tech tomorrow. When I spoke with him today about day/night temps he mentioned a WiFi controller which requires internet which I don't have down at my room

This will be my first time using docs kit. I have jack herer and panama red sprouting now. I'm currently using led lights for veg room and 1000 watt hps for flowering.
Its almost time to harvest my current grow of organic soil sequoia strawberry. Here are some pics to start as well as some pics of my current grow. I'm very excited to have found this source of landrace genetics.

Sweet!

I just purchased a AC/DE hood 1000w with a Phillips Double Ended bulb. Can't wait to set that bad boy up, people are reporting 3 pounds with these lamps.
Good news, I can use this wireless thermostat without internet with my split unit along as I have a router connected. So I will be able to control my day and night temps

Got my split unit installed, it works great. Although I am a bit disappointed to find out that it will only cool or heat. I have to physically change modes from cooling to heating..FML.. Suxx..

Anyways, I'm harvesting the green crack, platinum OG and blue dream in a week. The panama and jack herer has a ways to go yet and I have some white widow sprouting from south Oregon seeds which has the worst germination rate I've ever seen. DONT BUY THEIR GEAR...
