hey dude! nice grow, and nice plants. What strain are you using? and i see that you used a charger to power the fans. How did you do that? cus i'm having trouble finding a DC fan, but i have lots of 120 mm 12 V PC fans laying around.

Hey there zipague,
I just read how to's on wiring up fans with cell phone chargers,I think most chargers will work with the small fans like man,if the fan was to big I dont see it working but I dont know much about electricity:)
I am also useing bag seed..it was good weed but nothing special,but seeds to predict how well a plant will grow,the shittiest dirt weed ever could still grow killer nugs as I have seen it happen on here alot,lol...

Yes I agree that it will most defently be crowed,regardless of how many plants I have,lol...my last plant realy dident crowd the pc at all but then again I stressed it to much and it just grew 1 bud on the top of the plant,
thats why I was saying even if just one female was used,if lsted right ect...I think I should be able to pack this pc with buds,well thats the plan:thankyou::)
 
So I checked on the plants this morning,the shortest plant is defently flowering and Im 99 percent sure its male,I can usealy tell by looking at the top of the plant,there seems to be a little bud thing forming,but not like a female,hard to exsplain but I have had man many males that have done this so that why I think its male,lol...
They all are yellowing slighty on the first 2 sets of leaves,Im not sure if its cuz of nutes,no nutes...to cold at night or what but ya:)
They do look realy good besides that,there around 3-4" tall give or take and are on there 5th set of leaves all ready,there realy short and compact and that just what I wanted! I hate those dingly little puny stemed pants that fall over,lol...

So today they are 22 days old from seed and been flowering 12 days already,so I know they males willl be showing up any time now...
If I remeber right the last female showed her hairs around day 19-20 I think,so if I can make it that far,and still have plants left,lol...then maybe with any luck I will get a female,haha:)
I will post and Update with pics in the next couple days,

You could do like I did,,,,,,,,I use a 12v pc power supply. Do a search for using PC Power supply using a switch. One little mod to the power supply will just let you turn it on and off. Instead of the motherboard turning it on and off, you do it. In my grow boxes I use 120mm pc fans.

Yeah i know how to do that, i did it a couple of times to test water cooling pumps. But it's too big for my setup, plus i don't have a PSU and buying one is out of the budget. Thanks for replying though, i already fixed it with an adapter for an external HDD.

Although i have a question: the adapter says Output:12V-2A while the fan says 12V-0.7A, Could that be a fire hazard later on? Cus it's been running for 24 hours now and doesn't seem to be showing any sign of overheating, only spins faster than usual.RoorRip

Hey there ziplague:)
I think what that means is the adapter can hold up to 2amps,and the fan isent even a hole amp,so should be fine...???
I am just guessing as I know nothing realy about eclectricty,lol...
And dont worry about taking over the thead dude,lol...totaly fine:):goodluck:
 
J4s2u0, looking healthy! I'm subbed. I want to see how this works lol. They seem so small to be in flower already lol. But that's just because I haven't really ever jumped in on a pc grow journal lol. I can only guess at the size and space constraints lol. Nice work, keep it up! I'm along for the ride!

They look much better now,but cant putt up pics till morning!
The biggest plant is on its 6-7 node or leaf set and the rest are 4-5 or so...
Defently much better looking then they were in the last pics though,
But thanks for the kinda words man:)
 
12/13/2010,Update...
Just got done checking out the plants and also taking some pics,but as of right now plants are looking great I think,healthy and green for the most part,minus a little yellowing,lol...:)
So today they are 25 days old from seed,and 15 days flowering 12/12...
I know if they were in there own containers and had more soil,and I was using like 6500k bulbs,they probably would have been way bigger by now,
But I am using a pc,2 plants per container...using 2-42watt 2700k bulbs and only vegged them 10 days,so thats prolly why there small...
But ya,they look alright to me I think,already pulled a male..."it was the runt"
But lets hope in the next 5 days we can see some hairs:)

I also noticed that they are defently different plants in each container,one container has the purple stemed little plant,kinda like what I had in my last grow...
And the other container has less purple stems,and different leaves ect,might be cool to grow out each of these "if there female" so I would have 2 different strains going,that would be cool but as of right now I am praying on a female,but well see:)

Im not sure how Im going to keep them short either,lol...
Well the containers are kinda hard so if I need to lst I can just tie string or watever to the container and start training them,I just dont want to start untill they have gotton toaller then last grow,because believe it or not,this pc is actualy taller the the black and yellow tote I used for the last grow,like 3-4" taller...so that means I can get them a little taller before I start lsting...
