J4s2u0's 2nd Grow - PC Growbox and CFL's

What's up man,

I love the set up man. I like these type of grows, I have seen some huge nugs come from a PC.. I'm in bro sorry for being late my friend..


Plants look ready to flower, I can't wait to see what these ladies can do. Sorry about the male but I hope the rest are ladies for ya.

Thanks for the kind words,Im happy with it all so far...trying to stay up another hour so I can see the plants when the lights come on,but there defently looking alright...my last grow,the bud was pretty close to the size of a 42watt bulb,slightly smaller maybe...idk but Iv seen soft ball sized nugs grown in a pc on youtube,crazy...

Yeah i know how to do that, i did it a couple of times to test water cooling pumps. But it's too big for my setup, plus i don't have a PSU and buying one is out of the budget. Thanks for replying though, i already fixed it with an adapter for an external HDD.

Although i have a question: the adapter says Output:12V-2A while the fan says 12V-0.7A, Could that be a fire hazard later on? Cus it's been running for 24 hours now and doesn't seem to be showing any sign of overheating, only spins faster than usual.RoorRip

No Problem ziplague :) The fan is only drawing 0.7a, so you can run it forever. I had two PS laying around so I tried it and they are still going.
From your name I would bet you are computer geek. I am.:)

12/15/2010,Update:)
Ok so just checked the plants an hour ago when the lights came on,and was shocked by what I saw,lol...first thing is I feed them a little dose of big bloom yesterday,and 24 hours later its cazy!:) Im happy, to say the least!
So in 1 days time the tallest plant grew atleast an 1 1/2" overnight,and not just hight,width also...in fact all 4 of the plants look great...
Now on to the best news!!!
Today is day 27 from seed and 17 days into flowering 12/12...and guess what?
I was looking and thought I saw white on the top,kept looking and then relized theres white pistols already on the tallest one!
Yesterday she had nothing,she dident even look close to flowering realy,feed her the big bloom,and now today theres not just a single caylx with 2 hairs,there is 5-6 caylx's!
I mean obviously there still small but the tallest is a girl on day 17 12/12!!!

Another cool thing is the plant right next to her looks identical to her,a little shorter but she is looking almost female also...
Both the other plants in the other container look good,but one also has that female look,so Iv got my fingers crossed!
I wasent exspecting to see hairs till day 20-22 or not at all,all I wanted was one female and I got it,so if I get any more it will be a bonus:)

I was looking back and remeber u asking,what I was going to do if they were all female,lol...I laughed it off cuz my luck sucks for the most part and Iv got alot of males with these mixed bagseed...but as of right now,there all looking great and I just hope one of the others in the other container is a female also,that way I have 1 per container...
Still cant belive how much that taller one grew in one day,I just looked at it again and swear its still stretching,haha:)

Thanks man,defently good news...I just cant believe I saw hairs so early!
Im not sure about this strain though,it doesnt look indica like my other plant...
Maybe more sativa or maybe to soon to tell,idk...but stretching mad!:)
If she gets to much taller I will defently have to lst no mater what,haha!

Twins would be nice,lol...I realy think it will also be a female,I mean they look the same,just a day or two behind,but we will see:)
Pics tomarrow,Im still trying to find the charger for the camera that I like but,if I cant find it then I will have to stick with the exspensive one mom has,lol...but ya pics up tomarrow either way!
