J4s2u0's 2nd Grow - PC Growbox and CFL's

ThinkFab...I see what ur saying and it makes perfect sense,lol...I do have a little bit of soil left so I should do that I guess,these containers arnt big but I think by the time I only have 1 plant per container,they will be fine...hell if a red party cup can work then these defently should,and I realy like how they both fit in the pc perfectly side by side:)
Anyways they were looking nice today and if I can find my camera charger I will put up some pics tomarrow some time when the light come on...
They have already been flowering for 3 days,lol...but Ill update with pics soon!
 
Hey My Friend! From reading to here, I see you got it going good. Lots of friendly help too. What will you do if they are all female? Keep the best two or?

If they all were female,lol...ur right I wouldent know what to do:)
Lol...last time it took 7-8 plants to get one female,but they were all stressed ect,so not exspecting more then 1-2...
Hey the more the merrier,Im sure I could figure out sumthing to do with some females:)

Hey there falcore and thanks for stoping by:)
The last plant was 5 days old when I started flowering,so probably only had the first set of leaves ect...she was like 19-20 days to show flowers and I let her go till she was 62-63 days in flowering...
One thing I want to try also is making a kind of seaofgreen,using 8-16oz cups...instead of using clones though I would start with seed ect,flower 12/12 from day one,so they stay somewhat short...but these little 8oz cups I have I can fit 6 of them in the pc,side by side ect,perfect fit actualy...now if the were all female,u would have 6 little budding babys in a pc!
I think it would look pretty cool,but Im not sure how good the little cups would work...I have seen the red plastic party cups used and they got quiet tall concidering,and got around 6-7grams dry from each plant...

Im not sure if there big enough,all though I have seen alot og guys have good sucess doing it,lol...there isent to many options in a pc but from what I have seen,the best harvest from a pc have been 1-2 bigger containers,but not high,4" tall or so...one guy got 1/2oz per plant and managed to get 2 plants in his,my pc is rather small but oh well:)
 
12/4/10,Update...
Ok well I still havent found my camera charger,but had to get some new pics up so I decided to use moms camera,had a bit@h of a time trying to make there file size smaller ect,but I think I can finaly upload some,lets hope they work alright!
The seedlings look like cute little plants now,there in no way ready to fall over,lol:)
They all apear to be very healthy and growing pretty good now,you can see in the pics that most of the first single leafs have slight burn or yellowing,which happend when I gave them a small dose of big bloom,a week or more ago...they seem to be coming right back though and looking better!
Today they are like 16 days old from seed,and have already been flowering 12/12 for 6 days...atlest thats 6 less days I have to wait to see flowers:) Lol...

Its funny,the camera I used for these pics is a canon rebelXT eos,ect ect,lol...and I think the cheap camera I was useing before this for this and my last grow ect...are way better looking,thats why I dont go by price ect...sure the canon looks cool and has many feature I polly dont even know about,but I am perfectly happy useing my girls little fuji film,clear pics every time:)
I still havent made it to walmart yet to buy what I need to make the lights better but for now it seems to be working just fine,

hey j4s2u0 they look like they are starting to pick up a bit. the red solo cups sounds interesting and i think would be ideal for sexing. in addition i do have a suggestion you could consider. if you look at the pic from the side view of you setup you can see the empty space between and around the tupperware containers if you built a small planter box maybe from ceder fencing or something that way you could maximize the area of the computer and grow one to two plants in that and get a little more root space out of your set up. just a thought . keep up the good work man. :tokin:

I was thinking the same thing,I have seen it done a couple times and it worked great...and its actualy a realy cool idea,the only problem is...is getting 2 females in it,lol...thats why I started 5 of them,cuz I knew most would be males,lol...
I am atleast hoping for 1 female and if I get lucky then 2 would be great,but last time it took 7 seedlings to get one female,lets hope I get better odds this time:)
 
Well I just checked out the plants,there looking awesome...
They seem to be stretching some but not much,there pretty compact...
I would say they range from 2" - 3" tall right now,they are working on there forth set of leaves...I think on the next watering I will feed the a small dose of foxfarm big bloom,its organic so it shouldent hurt the plants much,I think the slight yellowing might mean there missing somthing in there diet,but either way I will start small:)
Tday is also day 7 of flowering 12/12...hoping in the next 7-10 days we start seeing some flowers,I have an idea about which ones I think are males but who knows!
Out of these 5 plants,only one has the purple stems and waxy looking leaves,which is what my harvested plant last grow had...actualy alot of them have the purple but only one have the waxy look,
Anyways...I will update in a couple days when they start growing more,but I am starting to like how things are going right now:)
 
We hope to get some clones from our kushes, and then I want to try flowering them early. But working from seed right now. We will take clones from all 4 and then flower the moms, and throw away any clones from the males.
Sounds like you have a handle on them!! Will patiently wait for the pictures! :tokin:
