Is This Your Homework Larry? Seedsman Skunk #1 In Soil

The two headed lady is something! Fading nicely too nice work UA
lol yeah the liberty haze is a shadow of its potential. Has a bit of a black pepper smell going on, with that underlying funk. I won’t get much from it. But it should be good.

great colors man. They are beautiful.
Thanks Dusty, I turned off both grow lights and all that colour popped out, one of the best plants I have grown yet. Impressed with the genetics of this one, but it is their signature strain so it should be decent.

Nice urb!!! I like the double headed liberty haze!
Freaky thing. I waited too long to start it, and didn't give it enough time to veg. But that double headed bud is sweet...it sits on a single stalk...like a bobblehead. A few folks like that plant, its got character lol

Ignore the Skunk! She looks great...
Actually I have been getting more and more impressed with it. Round, dense nuggets, a bunch hidden behind Crown Royale or CB Dream colas. Some of the branches are fallen over, only held up by a portion of the scrog net or other buds, so it's starting to seem like I might actually pull a few ounces off it. They aren't golf ball sized yet, but getting there.

You should see this Ultra Lemon Haze I got rollin. She's two weeks into flower and just beautiful! I'm not sure if'n I ever got any of those crown royale seeds, I'm gonna have to check the stash.

Hey there Urb - great looking ladies you have there. You got a frost warning coming your way brother.

Condition - frost with a sprinkling of nuggets and trichomes.

You got those loppers handy, eh?

Thanks Bob, I have loppers, choppers, snippers, and tweezers. Gloves and isopropyl ready to go.

Just finished picking off the loose leaves from the girls.

The skunk 1 is floppy but man the trichomes are plentiful. Sticky. Dense bud.

The CR has a few nice colas but a lot of smaller branches with a nice nugget on top and quickly fades into larf underneath. But I stop in multiple times a day to smell that plant. Hope its still plumping up.

The CB Dream is quickly fading and adding some colour to the bud. These are going to be some big colas, well developed, and quite frosty. Good because I want to make meds from it, help with sleep and arthritis pain.

Estimating 4/20 harvest. Smoked some larf off the CR that I trimmed a few weeks ago, left me with a nice buzz.

I got some feedback on my cannabis tincture (vodka).

I tried a teaspoon. Good buzz. Kinda energetic. Tried 1.5 teaspoons. Good buzz. Next time 2 tsp. Pretty high. That was my calibration.

I find its not my thing. Although I could probably do smaller microdoses and enjoy it.

So I gave it away. I passed along my 'recommended dose', But caution was thrown to the wind. One friend opened the jar and took a gulp. (its 100 proof vodka that had 28 grams soaked in it for a month). I warned him to mix it. Apparently he was pretty fn high later that day.

Another friend took a shot glass instead. He was pretty fn high too. Like "what have I done" kinda high.

So, fair to say my dosing was fairly accurate, and exceeding two teaspoons may result in challenging circusmstances.
This bodes well for my CB Dream tincture hopes. If I get enough to make a tincture, as well as some oil for capsules, AND have some bud left to use. With the intent of making folks more sleepy or easing pain. I will let the CB Dream go long and full of amber. The folks I am making that for will follow my instructions a little closer I am sure.

You know why you and me are different Urb? I save the best for last...

That first pic is awesome! Those subtle purps in the sugar leaves and on the fans too, not to mention all that frostiness.

Makes me wanna go take pictures! Great shot!

Lmao, yeah I come out guns a blazin’ In most things I do.

Man that Skunk 1, what a plant, it’s sooo frosty. Sticky. Gonna be some good smoke. Tried to get a photo to show it but it’s tough at the back of the tent. Those shots from yesterday were handheld.

4/20 harvest.

I've been trying to get away from the handheld stuff and use my tripod more often...

Those are with your Macro though? I've been using the 100mm Macro in less conventional ways. Distance shots and doing close ups from distance. She gives a bit more bokeh than I'd like sometimes but hey that's life, take the good with the bad. I do like my 50mm F2.8 tho, she gives some nice resluts too.

Yeah those are the first handheld shots I have taken in a very long time. Been so used to putting the camera on the tripod.

Yeah those are with the macro. It’s a great all around lens. I use it for those longer shots too. Close up. Macro. Just a quality lens. That would be the only knock, the shallow depth of field, creates some challenges.

Did you get your laptop back yet? You still messing with those extension tubes? If so, how do you like them? I haven't had the itch to pick up another set to try.

What are your thoughts about the ET's?

Yeah got my laptop back at the end of March. Purchased Affinity Photo and Logic Pro X. Been editing photos, making videos, and making music with it. Pretty happy with it now.

I played with them a bit. Still need to do some more and experiment with them. Was thinking after harvest when I can surround the plant with light I will really mess with them.

It alters the focal point, where you normally would put things on front of the lens, and getting used to that distance. I also want to try them on my 70-200mm for taking shots of wildlife but that lens isn’t the same since coming back from the shop.

So a bit slow to really test the full capabilities of the ETs.

Yeah, I've got a 70-200 zoom. Used it for the ports of my cousin last weekend and loved the pics so much I used it to shoot my plants the other day. Both of those pics I posted with the text.

Did you notice I changed the background on the signature picture I posted in the collective journal as well as add in my name?

I did notice actually. The Agemon watermark is pro! Love the backdrop too, eliminating background distractions is awesome. I picked up some art boards to make another backdrop or two.
