howdy Invi, the thing about grow shops(around here anyway) is they have such a low customer base that just keeping their doors open necessitates a high profit margin. Taking that in stride, anyone can find and build certain equipment for a bargin which is a fine thing but dont hate the grow shop guys. some really do want to help and are there when you need them in a pinch:)

yep thats is a good chart. lummens are very important but the spread of the spectrum is just as important if not more:)
 
Ya, the grow shops are tryin to survive, and what do they do when the get entrapped in the 25 mile limit?, that is the stupidest law I have ever encountered! It's a scam to force us to buy substandard weed from a dispensary, so they can profit and we get to suck! I don't know a single person who could afford to buy from a dispensary, the powers that be know we can't afford it.....we are being economically segregated and oppressed. It is my civic duty to disobey this stupid law!, I'm for real and we have to do something! We are just like the jews during ww2, in the fact that we are just minding our own business trying to get by, an alternative medical program, this is bullshit, and I won't accept it, if I go to jail.........I go to jail...whatever. I will simply be another political prisoner of a once great nation that has turned it's back on the will of the people, choosing to dictate morality, well being, and personal happiness. Humans are hard headed and have a propensity to do evil every minute of the day!

Can you explain that a bit more? I can't find any info regarding PAR and hps distance. Wonder what that says for a 250W.

Yeah watching from the outside something weird happened to the states after the 70-80s, shows in music, movies, foreign politics, almost everything. Freedom nowdays rather seems like something that is enforced on groups of people trying to mind their own business, and is usually well aligned with profits somehow :)
 
I guess distance has a minimal effect on par per say.I need to go back into Jandre's journal to get a better answer for you as he posted distance of light and how Par is affected which he always has good info I might add. that said the par rating has more to do with light you or I cant see but the plant does not so much watts or kind of light emitting it.
so give me a chance to find a some what functional brain cell and I will get back with you:)

With your high temps are you not concerned about the density of your final product?

Its a great grow and you have some amazing strains, but man id be bringing them temps down, you may encounter all sorts of problems in the last few weeks of flowering.

Im pretty afraid of high temps - and it will get worse: night temps will rise maybe even 15F in a month as summer arrives.
But why are you worried about the last few weeks only? I thought they will get a bit stronger in time and bud rot also prefers the 70 - 77 range. Are there other things to worry about? :)

As far as indoor goes brother.. i have literally started at the very bottom of n00bness and have seen pretty much everything.

With late flowering you want those temps and humidity LOW LOW LOW, why?
Because in the later stages of flowering if temps are too high, you will more than 100% likely get things like - Root rot - Mould - Mildew - Fungus Knats LOVE High humidity and moist mediums and will quite happily lay a squillion eggs in your roots, and what do they eat when they hatch.. the roots. haha its fucked i know..

I get what you mean about the plant being larger thus being stronger and more mightiful than ever before.. but it can vanish like that.. its like a super fit person that get sick, without making everything balanced that person will get sicker and sicker, then im like hey bro just eat another 1200 cheeseburgers (PPM ;) ) im sure thatll fix you bro.. the guys gonna die.. hey bro sit in this sauna you sick motherfucker you will be fine.. hehe just avin a laff ol mate! - you get my point im sure.

Maybe ill cut the CO2 at the end of harvest and keep the door wide open. I hoped mold and such likes lower temps.
Fungus gnat doesn't exist around here - at least never seen anything like that.


Otherwise the girls are in pretty bad condition. If i read them right they are all nearing N toxicity, and they also show P&K def... Even though i only reached normal schedule with feeding. I gave them around 1 - 1.1 EC instead of the recommended 1.4-1.8 so far.
Except Orange Bud, and maybe the widow - they seem to be fine with the N dosage so far.

Should i flush with clean water, or with a little PK..? When buds should fatten giving clean water is so painful! What would you guys do? :)

I did not touch the bottom for some time - check out how hungry they look


Very dark green, leaves curling down - lemon got a flush, maybe slowly recovering.. still she seems hungry below. And buds cant grow volume either..

Herer is nearing N od too i guess, OB (shows up on left side on some pics) is fine so far


I have no idea what i do wrong. I'm below suggested schedule, and get the N od while there is PK def...
Lemon is already f'd, and i cant feed the rest of the girls properly when they would need the highest EC according to schedule.
I measured the runoff while flushing the lemon - it was 1 EC and i was feeding 1.4 last time before the flush.
What can i do to give them enough PK while avoiding N overdose?
 
Canna has NPK ratio of 2-2-4, so maybe ill just give 75% ec of PK instead of flowering nutes. Hope i won't mess up and od PK too :)

Otherwise the CO2 controller is finished, it controls the power. Via a utp cable :) I could even get real time data through it, but for now i'm just happy it can start/stop the valve.

thats a cool looking thingy. brother the best as far as your girls to tell you is maybe some fert with the lowest N you can find.
I see the overload of N in your pics but have no good answers that I would feel good about giving. mybe some Beastie Bloom at half strength or any nute with less N. fingers crossed and good vibe to you and your ladies:)
