No it should be at top bud level (canopy all the same). Just make sure the light does not shine on it so its not heated by the light directly.

Dont know to much about growing but i do know that heat rises. It only makes sense to have it at the top of the canopy and also away from the light to prevent false readings. Just giving an outsiders point of view.

Well, poor Herer had a small accident. Her bud is on the left side of the paper, rest is NL Blue.
NL was 114g wet (~25g dried), Herer 23g wet (~5g dried)
SURE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANY BOO-BOO TO ME!

114g vs 23g wet - or 25g vs 5g as my dried estimate goes.

I took that as u saying the Herer weighs 23 g and its there placed on the left of the paper pack
And the nl weighs 25g and its there placed on the right of the paper pack
