Very quick Friday update on the winter tent grow. I'm under the weather (fever, achy, tired, no covid) but did want to put a couple of pics up of each plant on day 24.

The Wizard auto (@Bean Genie) is starting to get some distance between the nodes:

But the Pellezino Cookies (@Original Sensible Seeds) is still a shorty (so...not stretching to the raised light):

It's looking a little blue green so I'm going to back the nutes down a bit on that one next time I water.

I bumped the watts and raised the light to get the temps up in there as well.

That's it for me, and I hope you are all well and happy.

Your plants are looking Good! Sorry to hear your feeling Icky. Are you coming down with something, or is it new Medication stuff?

With your plan to veg until the Wizard Harvests, maybe the P Cookies plan is working?

She's past the important point now, the right chop on the right day will keep her guessing for a while and occasionally they like to grow new arms while deciding..

That's my plan: show me pistils and snip snip. Then I'll start laying the top flat as it grows out and I'll have to decide whether to lose 0, 1, or 2 lowest nodes.

Very first sign of a single pistil and it's go time for me. Occasionally I will wait an extra day or 2 because of height/nodes. But definitely want to keep them from bunching and keep the plant stretching in that state for as long as possible.
In many cases if I haven't topped the plant within 3-4 days of that pistil showing up, the plant continues as usual into flower and it's too late to give her any direction.

And speak of the devil, look what I just found

So I cut one node down on this one and if I wanted a quadline I’d remove another bottom node too but I like a hexline.
Now the plant that started showing sex has to recover from a light shock and sometimes…she forgets what she was doing for a few days and we get some more growth.
You want to TRY to do this when the plant is very robust and praying because if it’s not, this kind of shock may have negative effects down the road.
This one will recover quickly and while it does it will grow another few inches and that matters a ton to an auto.

Back in her spot like nothing happened. Training starts when those branches gain another inch or so of length.

The topping timing is just an auto thing, yes, and I'd say the blue/green is too much N too early. Thanks sb.
