InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Monday update, 2 days post-transplant and everything seems to be hunky dory so far on day 20 of the winter grow.

Here's the Wizard auto from @Bean Genie:

And the Pellezino Cookies from @Original Sensible Seeds:

Both very compact, and each now at very different distances from the light:

With different lux measurements...

TWa (20,700):

PC (17,600):

And different approximate PPDF/DLI readings...

TWa:

PC:

So, by most folks estimations, I should be seeing much more stretch from the PC now compared to the TWa, acknowledging that they are completely different varieties and photoperiod types. We'll see...for the anecdote!

I have no idea how to train anything so compact, but I'll be topping the Wizard at the first signs of flower no matter how short tall it is. Stay tuned, and thanks for stopping by. :peace:

:ciao: Captain!
Looking good! Are you using the photone app for DLI or something else? The screen shoot looks different than mine.
Thanks Tim! It is a different app called PPFD Meter that @con recommended a while back. Photone started requiring a diffuser for Android phones and con said the PPFD Meter was more accurate anyway. It's close to my actual lux meter (a little lower at the moment) but I haven't bothered to calibrate yet. I will at some point when I have a bit more focus.
Great to hear about Justin's new business venture as well. Very 😎
It is very  and I hope folks interested in growing autos will patronize his new site!
Hey Shed! :ciao: Hope you've been well! Looks like you've been keeping busy!
Lordy lordy it's a blast from the past. Hey Dobe! Nice to see you back around after a long break. Have you got a garden going and a journal to follow? Post a link here. :thumb:
looking forward to seeing your autos meet the hangman. From Auto to Fem and Back again...
That Wizard is looking stout!
That's what she said...
Har thanks Age! I grew some autos last winter inside and didn't do very well by them so I'm hoping this one will be a redemption grow of sorts. One auto, one photo so we'll see how that goes...plenty of time left to mess it up. 🤪

They look like healthy little twins right now..👍

Working around the fan leaves is the hardest part when they're that
compact- they're all in the way...🤨

Nah, I flip the Pellezino Cookies on Wizard harvest day. I'll do what I can to keep the PC from outgrowing the space, mostly with lower light levels as it is now. It will probably take shade cloth under the light once it gets into the 7g final pot though. We'll see!
nice schedule

I’m sure everything will be hunky dory for ya Shedster but I have to say that I’m a little surprised that you’re growing an auto. Hope you have better luck with that than I ever had. Fingers crossed 🤞 for ya. CL🍀 :thumb: :goodluck:

nice schedule
I hope so but who knows!
If this helps >> Autoflowers usually start to stretch and experience rapid vertical growth during the early flowering stage, typically around Weeks 2 to 3 of flowering.
Thanks sb, and I'm looking forward to as much stretch as possible. :)

Thank you Captain! Did you miss that I grew three autos in the tent last winter with all the PM trouble? Well hope springs eternal. 🤞

I don’t recall the pm incident but I know that we both haven’t had much success growing auto’s. Some people grow enormous ones but they continue to elude me. I think around 18” was my biggest. lol 😂 CL🍀. :thumb: :goodluck:

About the same for me. This was back in January with the Queen G auto, QGa2, Ruby Tuesday auto:

The leaves had a lot of PM damage on them and I never conquered it. This year I'm counting on the canola oil spray and the fact that they're never leaving the house to help make a difference.

Ruby Tuesday is now called Melange on the site in case you ever grow her again 😉

I never had pm be anything other than a nuisance but maybe 🤔 I was just lucky 🍀? lol 😂 Let’s just hope that this is the time that everything goes smoothly for ya Shedster and you join the ranks of those who grow amazing auto’s. CL🍀 :thumb: :cheer::goodluck::passitleft:
