Why? They're worth a couple mil...lol. Oh yeah, because they are the source of my funding should the USA legalize it and I want to start a grow house or dispensary.

You also wouldn't want to be the cause of the first ever recorded death by cannabis! All those text memes comparing alcohol to weed deaths would have to go away :rolleyes:.

A couple years ago I had never heard if Narcan (I work in emergency services). Then the Fentanyl laced Heroine rolled through our area and 3 people were saved in 2 nights because of it. And Opioids are legal? Go figure.

Ya I know. I think I'll go dig another section of the canal now. I really do love that one. Teddy running up the stairs blowing his trumpet. :passitleft:Most old movies I can say it's a good thing they don't make em like that anymore but this one for some reason I put in with the Blues Brothers and Ghost Busters Kill Bills. Go figure.

The most undignified way to die I've encountered. Fentanyl related but not the official cause of death. Inject Fentanyl laced Heroin. While getting sick from your dose, in a Waffle House bathroom, loose conciousness and drown in the toilet face first.
 
Horrible. Everyone on opioids should be given cannabis and SweetSue's thread on how to taper opioids using cannabis. Not to say there aren't those who need opioids to manage their pain, but they are a tiny percentage of those using out there.

My Mother In Law used 120 mg+ of opioids (Hydrocodone) for roughly 30 years for a shattered ankle (she danced with a train in her car and lost). Even after an ankle replacement she was still on them. When they coupled them up with Valium she was bat shit crazy. She decided to kick the habit. Took her close to a year tapering off. Now she uses CBD oil and a two small bites of my THC cookies a day.
 
Great story farside! Good for her for taking the time to get off them and good for you to keep her supplied with what she needs. You should share that in SweetSue's Opioid Tapering thread. Nothing like success stories to rally the troops!

My wife weaned herself off from 90mg per day for her Fibromyalgia. She's struggling right now because she's abstaining from cannabis since she's job hunting and fears she'll get a job that requires a pre-employment drug screen. She's the reason I started into growing 3.5 years ago.
 
Your family are poster children for this medication! I started growing for my wife (mostly recreationally, but social anxiety as well) and ended up growing for my dad and me too. I'm just a topical oil guy though.
 
Love hearing the stories farside. Sounds like my daughter lopin. She was on 23 different drugs and supplements a day for her fibro and RA. She's down to 3 now and doing what she can to get that to zero some day. Her grade point average in college went from a 2.98 while on her scripts to a 3.91 on cannabis. Go figure stupid pot head. Lol. Don't tell her daddy to quit growing. Not a chance in this backward state.
