I haven't got anything for topdressing so best I can do is up the nutes to the strength I'm feeding the AK. Did you have a thought on the topsoil roots?

it happens when ye douse them good its the water that washes them up ... that extra layer you added was the best ye could do about it
... hide the goodies from the root aphids so they dont get any ideas

What is the AK-47 in - 1 or 2 gallons? Aren’t you in veg still? I’d go ahead and pot up to at least a 5, maybe 7. This is your opportunity to try 50% rinsed pumice for better drainage/more air for the roots!

I'll be in veg until June 21st, when I will begin slowly lowering the hours of light until Sept 21st. At that point I will flip the earth to 12/12 and then will be shortening the length of the days until harvest

I have many many months in veg so I'm not in a hurry to up-pot until the plant is showing signs of stress. 7 gallon will probably be my largest pot and I'll probably be sticking with perlite for drainage as that's what I have on hand. Not that I don't think your rinsed pumice is terrific!

Isn’t that the same gallon plastic pot it’s been in since the end of November? I hope the roots aren’t fruitlessly circling the bottom of the pot. The recent K def may just be the beginning. It could probably benefit from some fresh soil.

It's the first pot it went into after it outgrew the original cloning pot and if you say since the end of November I'll believe you
. Transplanting Gold Leaf helped out a lot so this weekend I'll move AK unto a bigger home as well. Thanks for reminding me how long it's been in there!

Sup shed im slow to roll on new threads and you've been a great support. Ive read some of the info you've reitereated over the pages, and i'd like to say you've got the best summaries since rosenthalls encyclopedias. Now if i could just book mark your brain and ear mark your memories ill be set. This is in no way, shape or form of flattery. I hold words as true as pictures, and to paint an image with words is almost as lost an art as we'd see snow on tv. Mad respect,truth,real talk... i do find 420's claims that gold leaf is high thc kinda bold; it didnt strike me high thc.
Little wierd about that soil :S could be packed to tight for sure! But you'll know better than me .

Happy Tuesday to y'all! 78º grey day so everyone is under the MarsHydro 300, but I did take them out for inspection.
Sour G is looking healthier by the day. It must be happy with the nutes I gave it yesterday and I'm even seeing the hints of some secondary growth. I'm going to stick with that 25% dilution at least until I transplant it.
Speaking of transplanting, I'm looking for possible next homes for the AK-47. I don't want to go too big or I won't have a big enough pot for the its final home, but it obviously needs to be big enough to make sense.
How's this size?:
I didn't up-pot it today because there wasn't enough time, but I did decide to piss off Rider and have a gander at the roots to see how bound up they were.
Nothing that seems like it would be negatively effecting growth yet. And who knows, those roots at the bottom could be leftovers from whatever was in the pot when the guy transplanted this originally! The white roots are definitely not circling the pot. Do I wait another week or two?
No pics of Gold Leaf today, but I'm not sure I should worry too much about the leaves being paler than the others, as it is called "Gold Leaf"! Either way, it's getting full strength nutes going forward. Also, regarding the cannabinoid profile on Gold Leaf, Medmanmike had his tested and posted these results in the Oil Study Hall thread:
"Test results were not what I expected compared to what 420.com says, but still ok.
THC: 12.64%
CBD: 0.36%
Total Cannabinoids: 14.68%"
Yet 420 calls this a "high CBD plant" with 21% THC. Makes you wonder 'bout shit, don't it?

Looks like the root mass came out easily so id say transplant away and see if it needs it! Could even gently massage the roots a bit to get them broken up and looking out!

Roots look good. The pot is a perfect size. Your girl will appreciate the room and the fresh soil.

For one thing, that is his plant, yours could be more. Another thing, I am smoking on some Purple Trainwreck that is only 14%THC and .35%CBD, but something in there packs a hard punch. It's not like that mystery purple bag I was smoking on last night (Since I don't know the name, I nicknamed it Purple Retard as it was one of those after you smoke and your like what was I doing and how do you do it again???) but 1 bowl of the 14% PT and I'm good. Mama will be happy with that.

14% is already quiet respectable id say ... 20% is very rare ... and anything above 0.05% CBD is considered high lol
