InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Only thing I have that's straight N is cal/mag+.

Thanks Van! I never would have kept at it if not for the support of the folks here.

Don't have any of that. I'd rather not keep throwing money at roots if the Sour G is the issue.

Oh, you have something in the contests too?

Yessir! These ones! But there’s always such tough competition hard for a newbie like moi! Haha

I'm going to correct you right here. You are coming across as a blowhard. You started off with interesting descriptions of roots and turned into everyone's least favorite troll. You got here a month ago and have decided you're the resident scholar and we're your misguided students. Or worse, we've somehow paid to be at your comedy show. Seriously? Lurk more, talk (much) less, and leave your high horse at someone else's stable.

:Namaste:

I was wondering how many pages I would have to go through before someone said something. Handled very well Shed. Though I am still on page 291 so it could still go downhill before I get all caught up LOL.

...which they do almost every Friday and Saturday nights. My backyard is like a freaking community center :thumb:.

Man, I would come over if you had a half pipe in your backyard or frontyard.

I need some of your clone voodoo....going to try jiffy peat pellets next.

Only skateboarding this happens around my house is on longboards because my son hasn't learned how to drive!

Weren't you using rooters in trays or something before, rather than putting your cuttings directly next to your plants? Maybe I'm misremembering your early and successful attempts.
Use the cal mag diluted. Reckon it can't hurt the clones.
I can give that a shot. Thanks Kismet!

I had one success, the WW fem, I had males as well. All done in rapid rooters. Tried one in soil.

recent cutting was newer growth, might take gradually older growth over next 2 days....it's the play with it and something will eventually make her happy approach.

Encourage some sessions of proper ping pong ! Honestly it’s hilarious... cause it feels so weird o_O

My partner and I used to sometimes play left handed just for kicks too (or non-dominant handed ;) ). I haven’t played for more than 2 years... best not to think about that too much. :)

I have always forced myself to learn to do everything with my off hand, from throwing a ball, to using tools left handed, to all those little day to day things like eating, brushing my teeth, etc. I never knew why I did it except I couldn't believe that being severely one handed dominant was good.

Well, a few years ago my father had a bad stroke and loss complete use of his right side for a while (severe rehab allowed him full recovery with only minor speech stuff...slight slurs sometimes, and loss of equilibrium. Anyways when I went to visit him, he shared how hard everything was for him. "I can hardly brush my teeth left handed, I have no dexterity at all with my left hand. I have never put socks on left handed or wiped my ass left handed ever before the stroke. Do you have any idea how hard it is to do those things?"

I nodded and said "Yeah I do, I forced myself to learn to do those things. Remember when I used to practice throwing left handed and hitting left handed and shooting basketballs left handed and even tennis left handed?"

He laughed and said "Yep, I used to think you were crazy"

I said "I don't know why i ever did all those things....but today I finally learned!"

I make it a point to continue with that practice. If you have never tried to do your daily functions with our off hand, give it go sometime. You might be surprised how hard it is to do stuff with your off hand only.

That's a lesson you wish you never had to tell him about! But I know that kind of discipline pays off all over your life so it's definitely one to pass along. I'm pretty ambidextrous generally, though I sincerely doubt I have ever wiped my ass with the wrong hand!

I'm glad your dad pulled through well Van.

The non cutting clone people probably are really master... idk lol. if you cut the leafs you prevent to much moist getting out of the leaf nerves. since the cutting dont have much rooting going on for water abosoption they dry out easy. if you cut them by half or so they are less likely to get dry or stressy of that.

Also cleaning the water regularly might help, not sure if you were doing that or not.

Using (root) nutes or clonex made mine burn easy... maybe i was to generous but i like to keep it as light as possible, the water that is.
Not saying what you are saying isn't true, but if you ever look at my clones, I don't cut my leaves anymore and I rarely get any discoloration in any of my leaves. I tried it to test a theory that was similar to what you said above. I stopped cutting any leaves and my clones have never looked better. I know environment can be different for everyone and can impact growing and cloning in different ways. I just wanted to share that I tested this theory and in my case found it to be false and my clones actually grew better. In fact, it made me think if the whole practice of cutting the leaves didn't start from people that were growing clones in very small cups or bottles and wanted the plant cutting to fit in the small container and not have the wet leaves stuck all to the sides. Just a thought........:hmmmm:.........the things we come up with with when we :roorrip:

Cheers brother.

You and Rider were who I had in mind when I said that!
Good work. I think I only thing I like is failing and learning, once things are set, life's so boring! Good for you to try new things shitty about why is all!
Needing to try new things is one of the things that keeps me cloning :).
