InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

If there's a willow in LA it's planted in someone's yard. Aspirin - on the other hand - is in my medicine cabinet! Now we wait for @Pterostychus to find the dilution numbers for us and whether it needs to be pH balanced first. It is an acid after all.

Friday! Let's talk about the recovered Haze Xtreme on day 60. It's 7 nodes tall now and given that it's a sativa that can get 12' tall in the ground, I'll need to do some training. Originally I was going to mainline it but that was based on an un-stunted grow. What do y'all think about a quadline for this? And if so, where should I cut?

I shoved the Auto Masszar off to the side in the Oval of Brightness® to get the Brooklyn Sunrise Autos under the MarsHydro 300. It's getting chopped tomorrow anyway!

Happy last day of the rat race to @newty! Good luck in all future endeavors, ice road trucking or not :).
Can you take one cutting off the top and then top the plant Shed? It looks like it needed to be topped earlier.

Mendo Dope did a you tube video where he uses an aloe Vera plant for all of his cuttings. He squeezes the pulp out and mixes it in water then soaks all of the cuttings in it for 24 hours before putting them in the cloner. All of his plants looked good in the video so lets try it Shed.

I found this:
Specific Uses: During Cloning as a powerful rooting stimulator During any phase of plant growth as a natural plant immunity builder For Use in Foliar Spray as a mild wetting agent and plant tonic.
Aloe has two main properties that we are interested in for growing plants. #1 Salycilic Acid: Willow root isn't even as good. Aloe vera contains Salicylic acid which is an aspirin-like compound with anti -inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-bacterial properties. #2 Saponins: Another constituent of Aloe vera includes saponins. These are soapy substances from the gel that is capable of cleansing and having antiseptic properties. The saponins perform strongly as anti-microbial against bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeasts.

i use aloe, have a couple plants, i just cut off a strip, slice it open, dip the clone in the juices, and stick it in a wet solo cup of soil. Takes about two weeks and misting every day till see some new growth. Dont usually cut any fan tips either.

And there it is folks. You guys have your own portable cloning gel. And if you grow the Aloe Vera plant in super soil, all of those nutrients go straight to the gel because Aloe Vera is a succulent.

Yeah you should only trim them down if they are very large fans. Toppings and lower cutting should be okay.

Reason being, they will try to photosynthesize, which cant be done without nutrient uptake. This as you may know is done in 2 ways roots, which the cuttings dont have, and through the leaves. You can use a mild foliar to help them along. But be sure it has foliar as an option on the bottle. As always go half reccomend strength.

They will do just fine in your cloneinator regardless of misting.

The mazzar looks nice and chunky there bud! Be sure to let us know the smells are and include the wifes, "it gets me high" part.

Have a great day dudrr

I trim the tips off my cuts large leaves. I read somewhere it served a good purpose, but damn if I can remember. So I'll have to find it. And I do it for the room too. They don't have that much space when I take ALOT of cuts and fill the lid. I seen you add h2o2 to your water. I've never added anything. But if I was to add something, it wood be a weak ass solution of flowering ferts. The second and third numbers of the NPK are what the plant uses for root development. At this point in time, she doesn't need nitrogen at all. The leafs will yellow when the roots are going until they are large enough to uptake for the clone. But as a rule,, I add nothing;;;;; Straight tap water, period. Just change the water like once a week. But then I don't know how much your is holding;
When I transplant, this is how I inoculate my soils with Myco granules. That brown shit is the Mycos hope ya don't mind me posting it..
GL
Thanks for the info and the pics Norcali! You can post anything you like here :thumb:. I'm going to add bloom nutes as soon as I get some roots happening. It's water change tomorrow but I'm not seeing anything that looks bad happening on the stems so I think it's so far so good.

Off the top of HazeX? I topped it this morning (see here) so it's too late to do anything else ;).

Thanks Them! I'm sure she'll give one of her detailed reports on the Masszar so everyone stay tuned for that! Of course, the AK is first...two more weeks :).

The HazeX leaves looked like this just now so I trimmed them:

Great info on the Aloe all, thanks for including that here :thanks:. I've got a jar of Clonex gel so what with sunk costs and all I'm going to stick with that for now. But the fact that Aloe has salicylic acid ties into the willow/aspirin thing perfectly. And we definitely have Aloe in Los Angeles :).

Arctic has a ENORMOUS aloe plant (inside) myasthenia have to try and get a little clone, for the clones lol.

Enjoy your friday evening bud

When leafs turn yellowish,, that happens when roots start to show............. GL

I've not grown the Haze Extreme,,, myself. I do know they are extremely "lite' feeders,, as most hazes are. Alot of people get nitrogen toxicity growing hazes..........

Pretty quiet. Watered the Brooklyns and the Gold Leaf, changed the water in the cloninator (and put an ice pack in to cool it off), and reclaimed the soil from the Auto Masszar still drying in the box. Maybe I'll catch up on some World Cup action for a bit.

Thanks for checking in Nobody!

HazeX clone leaves recovered:

Root ball for the Auto Masszar. It's actually bigger than it looks in the pic:

See y'all in the morning!

Some great footage to catch up on. The Germany match yesterday was stellar.

Plants look good there dude. So far the cloninator FTW

Yeah, that haze did bounce back. I looked through my haze grow last night, that was some serious smoke. Now that I think about it, it barely could handle any N. Think I have 9 more seeds of it.

I am dropping a fem today. Need to get some shit moving.

Have not watched much soccer, just highlights. My son is into it. I have probably only watched an hour of tv in the past 6 months. I do need to catch a nice game, maybe one of the group of 8 if it is a decent matchup.
