InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

I love the MSS! Just staring at it gets me high.
LOL! Don't stare too long or you will be rendered unable to answer nutrient ratio questions. ;)
Wow that does look like a mad scientists contraption! Love it!!
I know right? As soon as I saw it I asked if I could pay the price difference, but they said they'd cover it.
That glass wonder looks a little difficult to clean.
Seriously! Using a vape eliminates the problem, but with flower I'm thinking we're going to go with Grandpa's suggestion of using cranberry juice instead of water. Much less resin on the glass.
Not sure what's going on with promix they are out nationwide. Was looking for the garden and vegetable one for some container plants for mom and as a base for some autos i want to run outside this year. Ended up ordering stuff to whip up a batch of coots mix instead. That bong looks amazing.
Thanks Kis! I have no idea what's up with ProMix, but you can always chat with them online here:
That's a beautiful work of art!
Thanks Otter! It was worth the extra wait-time for sure.
That is indeed a beauty - looks really cool!
It seems to have been given a permanent spot on the kitchen counter it's so pretty! At least until it needs cleaning. ;)
Beautiful piece!
Thanks double H!
Yea, years ago my old hydro store kept them in a fridge and told me that it kept it fresh and it would last longer. I don’t know where they got the info I didn’t ask and I just followed their move. All I do know it didn’t hurt as it literally lasted flawlessly for years so I just continued with that practice. :hmmmm:
What a beautiful new piece. Congratulations on the win. Does the 1st user do the 1st cleaning?
I should probably toss my clonex gel then since it's been sitting in a basket on top of the washing machine for 3 years!

My wife does almost all the bong/pipe cleaning, so she'll probably be tasked with this one too. 91% iso and rock salt!
Nice new piece of art you have there Shed !! Damn and you don't even smoke ! So we know who is NOT cleaning it LOL
Thanks sb! I rarely have to do any pipe cleaning, only the cleaning up of the mess made from growing/cloning/trimming/thinning/infusing... :cheesygrinsmiley:

I thought it would have been obvious that I was referring to the bananananana plant.

Buttercup said his have never smelled like bananas and that isn't the first time I've heard of that. I wonder if anyone here has grown one that really does?

Of course it was. Highly informative and endlessly entertaining.
Isn't that your "secret formula" for a successful journal!?!

I'm growing a few now that smell like bubblegum (banana flavored). :laughtwo:

Actually i am quite excited to mix up my own stuff, Promix being hard to find just screamed at me that i needed to go Los. Got a hundy in the amendments other stuff had laying around. Going to do a 30 gallon batch and throw a couple of autos in 15 gallon bags outdoors.

Wow, congrats on the new glass shed! That's quite the piece and a very nice gesture on Lookah's part.

I'm wondering if it's some sort of logistics issue. There seems to be lots here in Canada at the moment. I was back in the city over the weekend and noticed that the Canadian Tire store had gotten there pallets of promix hp in along with various other promix products.

Not much of a Thursday update as most of the plants are inside because of the lack of sun, but I pulled the Summer grow out for a photo op.

In this pic I raised the solo cup to match the soil level of the 1 gallon pots, so you can see how the Chiquita Banana has caught up to the rest, and is now taller than the stalled out Jack Herer!

L to R: Jack Herer, Chiquita Banana, Sour G.

I hope the week is going well!

Wow. That’s a beautiful piece of glass!
Thanks Boo! My son is most fond. :)
He used it all.
Nah, I haven't bought any in a year and that stuff was over a year old!
I'm growing a few now that smell like bubblegum (banana flavored).
Oh thanks...so there's hope for mine. :high-five:
just dropping in to say high and invite folks to drop by my grow and leave commeents questions or to just say high
Howdy Don, and glad you could catch up on my grow! Which one of my plants is your fave?
Wow, congrats on the new glass shed! That's quite the piece and a very nice gesture on Lookah's part.
Thank you dick, and it was very kind of them to let me jump up a level! Definitely worth the wait. :)

I don't know, but if it's a logistics issue it goes back to early last year. When I bought the bales I just ran out of, Lowe's was discontinuing them (last May) and selling them at half price...and they were two years past manufacture date even at that point. Maybe they're not a big seller down here?

Great deal at half off!!! I’ve never even seen Pro Mix HP here. Walmart has the retail Pro Mix Moisture, which is not good for MJ, but maybe if enough perlite is mixed in for a summer grow? They said they get it in every spring.

I'm not sure that faster draining is the most important thing at 100ºF! There's probably a reason they're selling the Moisture version where you are. I'd go easier on the perlite and test test test!

And the half off of old ProMix HP turned out to be not much of a deal, as everything in it needed to be monitored for pH swings from the MegaCrop. Fresh at full price would have been easier. :)

I hope I get the hang of soil again!

I already mixed a little bit into my sunshine mix when I repotted the photos, I figured a little water holding ability wouldn’t hurt.
So you think the pH buffering ability was affected by it being so old?

I checked it with the manufacturer, and they said yes. That's why they recommend use within a year of the manufacture date stamped on the bag.
Ahhh. I always figured it was for the myco’s. Good to know. I’d better use up all my sunshine mix this year, it’s probably the same.

The summer girls are looking pretty spiffy today, Shed!
We have Pro Mix HP now....but no gas. Oof!

I saw on the news that gasoline in the east might go all the way up to $3.00 a gallon...
Thank goodness it's still at it's usual low,low price here- only $4.85/gallon for premium....
and there's 2 refineries within 15 miles of my house....

Thanks Carcass! I always get a kick when they talk about the national average gas price that turns out to be at least a dollar cheaper than what we're paying. Still...I ain't moving. :)

You might want to trade in the Ferrari and get something that takes standard!

I got rid of my "midlife crisis" Corvette about 6 years ago...now my little Honda Fit sips gas as if it were fine wine...Mrs.C's Tacoma is the one that drinks the pricey stuff!

I couldn't read the label on the Chiquita Banana so thanks for posting which one it was below. They look good.

I had to stake one of my summer plants, too as it kept falling over.
