InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

:thanks: Amy! Here's what I found...

Green Cleaner: The active ingredients of Soybean Oil (39%) and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (19%) along with citric acid and isopropyl alcohol combine to make a potent treatment for russet mites, spider mites, mealybugs, powdery mildew and more!

That's a lot of oil, but here is Dr Bronner's castille soap, which doesn't list theirs by percentage: Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Potassium Hydroxide*, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Hemp Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Citric Acid, Tocopherol
*None remains after saponifying oils into soap & glycerin.

I wonder which of those oils washes off more easily, or break down in sunlight.

I'm using my clone mothers as guinea pigs so we'll see how it goes.
Hi Shed, I hope you don't mind me chipping in with an unrelated question. Yesterday I treated my Inzane with 1 % Citric acid / dishwash solution for what I suspect may be PM. Today I was inspecting the leaves and I discovered a few tiny pin prick bugs on the underside of the leaves, which I've now confirmed are spint mites. Have you had success combatting spider mites during flowering, and if so, do you have a suggestion for what can I use in flower?

I hope it smells nice but we won't know that for months! How about something that sounds disgusting like Goat Kush?
Or more disgusting: "Goat Tush."

Quotes below the Saturday night update! And yes we are going with Tin Can Kush (TCK). :thanks: otter!

Friday night one of the TCK seeds had already come up, and this morning there was another and the Red Dragon, so three of five get today as Day 1:

That first TCK had a serious tap root this morning :

And here they all are in ProMix HP with tap water down the sides:

Now we just wait for the third TCK and the Candida, which I really hope comes up!

In flower I recommend Safer's Brand insecticidal soap spray, which is 40 something percent potassium salts of fatty acids. I spray it in the morning and wash it off after it dries. In South Africa you can try this:
Nice Harvest Shed! 1.5G/day isn’t bad at all!
I spose not. :)
Since you have 3 Golden GOAT’s, collectively you should just call them: The Brady Bunch.
Sorry, I just couldn’t help my self
LOL...hard pass! ;)
Or more disgusting: "Goat Tush."
:hmmmm: I think we're getting off track.
Nothing like a little tail to start the day!
Now I know we're getting off track. Let's keep it a bit cleaner in here.
You know what goat farmers say about that don’t ya…”It’s not baaaaaaad!
LOL!

:happy-birthday:

So I went back and read (missed it some how) post #24,360 where you described & dropped the TCK’s. A couple of things. Is it normal for breeders to put out a strain without naming it, ie, the TCK? Second, where do you store your seeds? I store mine in the original packaging, in a tin container, in a crisper drawer in the fridge.

I think its not really, technically, a new “strain” until it’s kind of stable. Until then, it’s just a cross and that’s why breeders put out crosses just called ??? x ??? with the 2 parents‘ names, because thats what it is. It hasn’t been selected for or refined at all.

LOL thanks Baron!

The Golden Goat x Tahoe OG seeds were a cross made by a fellow member here, as were probably 80% of the seeds in the pic I posted here. Except for the Barney's, I take most of the seeds out of their mailing packages and put them in the little tubes in that pic, label them, and put them in a ziploc that I tape to the side wall inside the fridge. The original breeder packages all seem to be either paper or tiny ziplocs, and those tend to get crushed in the hustle and bustle of groceries!

It certainly hasn't!
Cool There on there way to growing up, that is a lot of tap root there , goin to be a strong little devil
Thanks sb!

Still no action from the third Tin Can Kush or the Candida :nervous-guy:, but the Durban Poison settled to 62% overnight, so let's post the final weight for the Sunday update:

That's 161g / 5.68 oz, which works out to a mere 1.1g/day, which is definitely one of my lowest. We'll see how the smoke report goes in a few weeks!

Here is a closeup of a bud, because it's not its fault it didn't produce a lot!

Happy Valentine's day all.
