InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

That picture (and that pheno) of the Power Plant is better looking than the one they're using on the WSE page
Beautiful plants
Thanks sy! I don't think WSE is even aware that there is a purple pheno, so I doubt they'd advertise it that way
the transatlantic cable was seen making waves in this update!
:surf:

Thanks Crazy!
30 years of needing afrin to be able to breathe through my nose has left me with little sense of smell also. I get a kick out of people’s descriptions of cannabis, because I cannot detect any of the subtle scents they describe. I do love the overall smell of good cannabis, but that’s about it.
Besides saving money on dispensary prices, I started growing weed because I like the smell!
Purple Power Plant! How beautiful! Go man go!
Thanks otter!
Mother I'd like to ....flower!?!
So the opposite of de-flower? Because that ship obviously sailed.
Great bud porn, Shed!
And here's my 2 cents on harvest timing:
I'd say you've still got a week to 10 days on that one.
This one looks a little closer to being ready, but still maybe a week more.
Thanks BL! I can only harvest on weekends, so it would have to be 3-4 days or 10-11 days. I'll take another look on Friday and see if there's been much change. Not a lot of sun so far this week though.
As others already said, that power plant is so pretty! Congrats on the upcoming harvests. Hopefully the little red hen gets some help.
Oh I am definitely going to need help if I take them both down at the same time. Thanks double H!

I had some tail(s) last night!

Colombian Gold:

Durban Poison:

So into peat pucks they went, and into the Shoebox of Light® for germination, at ~80ºF:

(That's a temperature probe.)

They're probably going to be a shorter veg so they don't get too big to fit together in the tent in flower, but we'll see. I'm counting on double H to tell me when to flip. :ciao:

Highya ITS,

Love your sprout choices! Sativa all the way!! Except bedtime, lol. I have a couple ATF's growing now. they have pistils, just seem late to me. Probably be trying to harvest the buds in the snow!! Happy Smokin'

Oh good choices on Columbian gold and Durban poison! Always exciting times starting new seeds. I am days away from starting a next run as well!
Glad I don’t have to go far for some DP.
It was down to the C99 backcross or the Colombian Gold, and since I've had the CG seeds for longer and it's pure sativa, I thought it should help close out the year. :sorry: @BooWho2

Thanks Bode! These will finish the year of sativas for me (Fruit Punch, Golden Tiger, Carnival, Power Plant, Chocolope, Colombian Gold, and Durban Poison). I'll go back into hybrids next year, and most of the ones I have lean indica. In terms of solid indicas, I still have jars of Berry Bomb and Bedroom Cookies from last summer.

Good luck on the ATFs!

Hi you and all :ciao:

Harvest-wise (seeing as you asked so nicely :) I was thinking they both looked close and in the window in the portraits... just looking at the trichomes you could wait - still some clear on both. But honestly I don’t think it would matter to take ‘em this weekend or wait another week. Benefits in both options I reckon... and actually... those pics aare a couple of days old now so a week from these pics might just be this coming weekend!

If it were me I’d plan harvest for sometime in the next 3-10days depending on whether I could get the help need and what the weather was going to be (I like to mitigate the pressure of decisions by considering all limiting factors...)

They look great! Especially considering the pressures of PM and stinkin’ weather :thumb:

Nice Purple Power Plant :D

No worries Shed. Maybe we should have an outdoor C99 dance off in the summer of 2021? Lol.
That would be fun, but definitely not 2021, as I've got to find some new hybrids in my collection. I lost my Sour G mother as well as my DTF, both sativa leaning (but not racy) hybrids, so I'll be growing some new things in 2021 and seeing how my wife likes them! When we get there I'll post some possibilities and see what y'all think of the choices.

:thanks: Amy! Nicely is always the best way to ask. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'll see if there are still enough clear to wait another week, since the early testers on the Carnival were tending toward the jittery side (not sure the cure will change that but we won't know for another 3 weeks at least). They are definitely drinking less, though the change from 97º to 77º might be playing a role there!

And since my weather and available help aren't mitigating factors for me (just days off from work), I can at least know it will be one of two weekends.

Durban Poison:

Just curious but, why are you growing Durban Poison? What do you know about its effects? We grew it because I read that it was an appetite suppressant, which was great in my books. :battingeyelashes: I don't remember the high from it though. We haven't grown it again so it must not have been that great. But different strokes for different people.

Some folks rave about it and some folks say it's a pretty mild high. Either way it's a legendary sativa so it seemed like a good way to finish the year!

Nothing is an appetite suppressant in this house. :cheesygrinsmiley:

You can always count on me Shed! I don’t remeber helping you before, but if you say so, I’m on board. :thumb:

I’m not sure if you’ve grown it before, but Jack Herer is the best daytime, non-racy, chill, sativa, I’ve found so far. Dispensary purchases included as well. Just for your 2021 consideration.:ganjamon:

tonning in and excited for the new seeds that have germinated. :Namaste:

- Know your poisons...

This will be interesting, been wanting to grow her since I started growing during late 90s. Its a true legendary sativa... should be right up my alley then. :)

I don't have any JH, so it will have to remain on my wish list. I can't justify buying seeds when I have many strains already waiting in the wings!

Thanks PK, and :welcome: to my perpetual journal!

This is definitely your alley Crazy!
