InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Thank you all for your patience (#exceptnewty, whose interior design style I admire with everything she posts :))!

Let me start with a pineapple in flower! I have no idea when this was planted, but since @The rooster was asking, the one on the right has a flower and the one on the left is in a 7 gallon pot:

Here is what it looks like when it begins to send up the flower that turns into a pineapple. I'll probably be harvesting this the same time as all my ouside photos!

Next up is the AK, flip day 14:

I fed it yesterday morning, 1.5 gallons with about 8 ounces of runoff. Into a gallon at 200 TDS went:
1 tsp Armor Si (+41 TDS)
3 ml cal/mag+ (+127)
¼ tsp Open Sesame (+105)
2 tsp Tiger Bloom (+367)
3 tbs Big Bloom (+190)
Total was 1030 TDS. Nutes were 640. I went low because of the high runoff from last time. I'll be adding more Tiger Bloom and Terpinator as I get further along.

Runoff was 1780 TDS, or +750. That's fine.

I have to say that my pH meter is becoming a problem. You may recall I decided to calibrate it, and they recommend leaving it in calibrating solution at all times. So I do, and every time I use it I have to re-calibrate it. One morning it said 4.5 in the solution and yesterday it said 3.8. Might be time to shoot an email to the manufacturer.

Last pics are for our resident non-entomologist, @Pterostychus. I saw this on the Sour G yesterday morning...friend of foe?

That's all for now! Been a busy two days (obv) and now I'm off to visit my dad. :surf:

More pics tomorrow. I hope you had the best weekend available. :green_heart:

Great post there shed. Hope your dad is doing well. I wanna grow a pineapple one day!

Those pineapples are wicked!! I need to try an indoor pineapple grow:D
That bug looks like a foe! I know nothing but FOE! Or #ew
Your weeds are damn fine also;)
I got my fix, carry on...
Thanks newty, I don't want you to suffer withdrawal symptoms on my account!

Jealous, would love a Pinapple plant. I’ll be the one to admit until recently I thought Pinapples grew on trees like a coconut. Whoops. What a cool plant! So tasteful
Stay tuned Advocate, I'll update here and you can watch the long slow process. Way longer than waiting for a Malawi to ripen :).

Great post there shed. Hope your dad is doing well. I wanna grow a pineapple one day!
Thanks Them! He's aight. We sang and had a grand old time. Gonna stop the canna-capsules for a while because he's still fighting with the shower guys. Not seeing enough difference to keep going right now. As things change with him I may reformulate and try again though. At least the staff understands the process now!

Good update. Love the pineapples. Love the ak canopy more though
That's AK canopy is a dream so far. It fits fine in the dark box and isn't stretching like crazy yet. I like to stand and admire it on the table. I'm kinda proud of getting it into that shape :thumb:

Hope dads doing the best. I'm liking the AK more and more now that she's flowing. And who doesn't love a fresh pineapple. YUM
Thanks Derby. The AK flowering system is working so well I'm considering using it again. Kinda nice to be able to flower a photo without a tent. Options are good!

And the pineappleso are all Maui Gold that you can't buy off the island. Excellent!

That AK is a gorgeous plant with some great training Shed! Well done brother
Thanks Van! I think it's easier for me to train wild monstercrops than it is ones grown from seed.

Monday and I'm back at work. I have to organize my dad's tax paperwork to fedex to his accountant, but first I thought I'd post a few pics of the table this morning. I offloaded the two smaller AK clones over the weekend, so I'm down to 5 plants. Here they are...

Pulled the AK from the dark box this morning and took this pic. I just went through and counted all the tops I could find and got 44! Damn close to Pt's count of 40.

Here is the AK clone:

And Gold Leaf, growing much slower lately:

And Sour G, which also has slowed down considerably:

And the Auto Masszar, which looks a little N hungry.

I mixed up some basic nutes over the weekend of:
1.5 ml cal/mag+
3/4 tsp Grow Big
2 tbs Big Bloom

The bottom of the pot is pretty wet so I'm going to wait for the leaves to look wilty before I water again.

Welcome to the working week. I know it don't thrill you. I hope it don't kill you.
:theband:

Yeah idk that growth looks almost like mine did on ivy before flip. kinda Like curved tacos or something.... But I dont see any actual yellowing or anything. Well maube a tad down low. Mabey mg? You have a sprinkle of Epsom to add?

Which plant do you mean Them? I think I have epsom salt somewhere. Got a dilution rate for me? (Please don't say "a pinch"!)
I've read a tsp (teaspoon) to a gallon of water for Epsom Salt. Then you can ratio from there (quart, half gallon, etc).

Sorry, I got lost for a while, took a page or two to catch up.
