Wait till you see the pics I post today on my "high brix Q and A" thread.

LOL It's like searching for gold in your own backyard and stumbling upon a fortune of Pay Dirt ! Welcome to the dig 49ers!

Hey Doc, I'm having trouble finding organic worm castings that have the 1-1-0 ratio (NPK) Does anyone know of a brand that has these rations online any where I can order from?

Hey Doc, can you PM me as well? I'm also not at the 50 post minimum and am about to start my grow as soon as I get your kit together. I tried pricing out the different parts of your kit on amazon but unable to find a few of the items. If I can grab everything I need from you that would be perfect.

Thanks!

Why would you try pricing on Amazon? They don't carry my gear. I provide it at the best price possible too.

I'm sending you a PM.

I use Wiggle Worm. I'm not saying "It's the best." I use it because I can get it....and more importantly it has ZERO for the K in NPK. Any brand with ZERO potassium is what we're after.

Thanks for the reply Doc! Seems like your the big dog up in this forum! I want to thank you in advance for all the ground work you've been doing for all of us growers especially the noobs. I haven't gotten my 50 post count yet but would like to communicate directly with you. Is this possible at all? I'm a bit overwhelmed after reading through your entire kit and my confidence with using your method is waning by each post. Drenching, and "cooking" the soil mix is starting make me feel like I can't do this. Please PM me if/when you can. Thanks Doc!

Hey Snoogensz! Glad you're interested in the kit. Don't worry its so simple to use the kit. Cooking just means mixing together the pro mix and worm castings along with the amendments included when you purchase a kit from Doc. Add some water and let it sit in a bin for a month. Then its just a matter of adding some magic juices to your water when you feed the plant or spray them.

I have to order my pro mix and worm castings online from a hydroponic store. I found the worm castings and pro mix on Amaz.n as well but the shipping was higher than going directly to the site selling it.

Thanks for the quick reply doc. Hate to get this confused but just to make sure I got it,

1 ounce of energy covers 30 square feet

.5oz energy + 2ml tea in one gallon of water. Dilute this gallon and feed to 6 plants.

Same ratio for transplant feeding?

here you say

just want to be clear about how much transplant to feed.

I see now that the first feeding of transplant in bloom (when you actually transplant the plant) is .5oz per plant. Quite a bit stronger.

I fed my girl with slightly less than the 1/4 oz you recommended and probably a bit to much tea. I went with 6ml of energy and .5ml tea in about 3/4 gallon of water. I top watered this time.

When do you feed by top watering and when do you do full soak in the bucket feedings?

Also, I'm having a hard time finding a post on when to use the recharge. My girl is an autoflower, so I transplanted early to avoid any root zone stress.

I'm concerned that because the life cycle of an auto can be considerably shorter, ill need to slightly adjust the timing of drenches around the veg-bloom transition. However, my girl is 25 days from seed, and just showed preflower. apparently still vegging maybe near the end. This would leave my timeline very similar to a photoperiod plant, with likely 8-10 weeks in bloom. Doesn't seem like this auto is any faster than an photo strain lol.

Bare with me as I'm reading this entire thread from the beginning and I'm only on page 19 but this was one of my questions I had. On page 1, Doc shows drenching/feeding by placing the entire pot into a separate bucket to feed and then lifting it out to drain. Is this method used for all feedings or only after transplant? Pakalolo asked the same question and I wasn't sure if this was answered, I have thousands of pages left to read to catch up on...(I already ordered a kit but now my homework is to read this entire novel)

Dunk the entire pot whenever possible. In my garden, it's only possible in veg.

In bloom, I use saucers and water a bit down the top and the rest in the saucer.

REmember: wet/dry cycles in veg BUT don't let them completely dry out in bloom.

When you start out in the smaller pot, its much easier to do the dunking anytime the plants need a watering. Drench or not. Once you transplant them into their bigger pot, lifting those needs quite a bit of effort and so top watering is usually done at that point.
