I have to admit.....I thought the same as GDB based on the first part of the name "Tassie". I've been wondering for a while now, not that it mattered either way. So thanks from me as well. :lot-o-toke:

It's funny, when I was thinking up my handle, I never once thought that it could be mistaken for a feminine thing, cause it's just the name of my state, we say it everyday lol! But I'm glad I gave everyone a good giggle ☺️
 
Jeeez I go away to a Fall music fest at a somewhat local Elks club. Drop a few gel tabs and come back to 420 to find you pranksters talking about gender changes. Now I'm really tripping. Fun time with old friends despite the cold and outdoor heaters malfunctioning and no bonfires due to the fire ban. It has not rained here in forever.

The music was great. Heard some old blues with a guy that blew the harmonica with gusto. Playing old Pigpen tunes like Big Bossman and Hard to handle and other old Grateful Dead tunes. He was fantastic!

Now back to the grow.....I have the two little whales under a fluorescent light at the moment. They seem to be stretching a bit. Today, If I get the energy I'm gonna move them into the clone tent and move the clones into the flower tent. Shew my brain hurts a little bit this morning and I'm only on my first cup of Joe and in need a puff.

That festival looks absolutely amazing RR, I love music festivals, like so much, I practically go to everyone that comes to Australia!

Now back to your sprouts, they look like they're off to an awesome start my friend, so green and healthy 😀 brilliant work 😀
I reckon they might just produce a whale of a load of bud 😉

Also sorry if all our debauchery caused you a headache, we were just having a little bit of fun, promise 😊

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I have a question....when do you all start using nutes on seedlings? I think I wait too long to begin feeding them. And it seems to me once a deficiency starts it's tough to catch up. Or maybe I just diagnose them wrong.

I really want to make these little girls shine on this grow. I am going to be using Geoflora dry ammendments for this grow since I have quite a stock pile on hand from my last grow.

In soil, when the first true leaves are well developed, and she's started working on the second set. I don't know if that works with Geoflora though. Doesn't it take a little while for it to start working?

Thanks Melville I appreciate your input. I am not sure how long it takes for Geoflora to start working. It's good to know to start early in the game. I usually wait till the 3rd quarter which is way too late. Thanks have a great Monday.

I actually start using fish emulsion solution (5-1-1) at 1/4 strength in the second week and then increase it from there until the forth week when I start with a full blown cocktail. This seems to be the magic bullet for me (in either MG or Lush soil) with both weed and vegetable seedlings. Happy Monday to you man! 👍☮️
 
Ramblin, like Mel, I typically start feeding when the second set of leaves has appeared. Geoflora takes a bit of time before it's available to the plant. I'm guessing you could give them a bit of Geoflora now (on top) and by the time it's available the plant will be ready for it.

Make sure to amend your soil with Geoflora when you up-pot. It goes directly in the soil then.

When did a test run with GF I mixed it into the soil I planted the day-old sprouts in. Like GDB mentioned, I figured it would start kicking in just about the time they needed it.

Thanks Shed. I always amend the soil when I up pot the girls and let it fester for at least 48 hours before I transplant the girls. I did not do that for the solo cups. I will just give them a top dressing in their solo cups.

So happy you found my new grow. We were definitely missing you.:ciao:
 
The little 🐳 are cruising right along. The second true set of leaves are just starting to appear. Next watering I will give them a light top dressing of Geoflora veg nutes. Stay elevated my friends.
