Imtoasted's Journey Of Perpetual Bliss

Ok well safe to say i figured out my problem.. i had my temp and rh gauge below the plants and when i moved it above them the highs get to 88. So that explains the drooping.. Tonight its not so bad. The highs hit during the last few hours of lights on maybe but im not sure how long it stays at 88.

I guess ill just water more and order some silica tomorrow and hope that helps.. anyone have recommendations for silica products? Brightlight, si as in armor si from general hydroponics?

Vanilla kush at 14".. idk if i will take their ties off. They should stretch for another week or so. Today is day 4 of flower and 10 days since i flipped them.

The incredible bulk is the same height but more bushy. She seems to not like the heat as much but bounces right back when she gets a drink.

The babies are doing well.. i saw on twox's journal that his slurricanes are leggy. Well my seedling looks to have the same traits. Should i move them closer to the light?

Hey Toasted one,,, you can put them T-12 lights so close the seedlings will touch the bulbs... and won't burn your plants.. By seedlings I mean 6-7 inch. And that will sure make a short tight plant.. GL and Keepem Green

Man, I am sorry Toasted, I just realized Nugz and I were talking on your thread.
My bad, I get chatty some times :)
Glad to hear that its all good here.
I haven't been here long, but id gladly give a hand to anyone here if I can.
What a great community!

Your plants look so healthy & happy.....very pretty too. Lots of silica products out there. One of the oldest is still one of the best....Dyna Gro ProteKt. Local to me....good guys. Has EDTA to chelate but works great in a synthetic regimen. For organics I like Montana Grow Silicon Amendment. From volcanic rock (tuff). Chitin also builds & strengthens cell walls like Si. Chases bugs away too. In insect frass or crab/shrimp meal. :Namaste:

Toasted, in regards to the hygrometers, I have 2 in my tent each canopy high and in 2 different corners.

Maybe im cheating, but I sheilded the screen like a ball cap so the light doesn't hit the lcd or the black frame.

I put cardboard on one and panda film white side up on the other.

The panda film runs 1 degree less than cardboard. Allowable.

Call me crazy but without a cover it's 3 to 4 degrees hotter.

I think the black shell picks up that light creating heat that isn't really there as far as your plants are concerned.

But.. I guess we can get as specific as we want what witg canopy temp measurements with frickin lazer beams.

Yea they all are about the same.. im gonna get the armor si cause its the cheapest and has prime shipping, so i dont have to wait however long to get it. Im shying away from using organics and synthetics together. Pretty much convinced organics do nothing when using salts. I dont have any problems with bugs so no need to worry about that. Thanks a lot for the feedback guys!

You guys can talk all you want.. im happy to have you all talk and learn new things on my thread. Remember im learning too when you guys do that, so thank you. Been down in the dumps lately so its nice to come back to new posts on my journal when im not around.

I use armor si make sure you add first and agitate water wait 20 mins then add other ingredients in order, I always go cal-mag next then agitate then wait 20 mins then micro grow bloom and additives like floralious plus and fox farm booster. But good choice with armor si it will protect your plant and also help thicken branches.

Thanks bignugz.. whenever i add my nutes together i let each one bubble for 5-10 minutes before adding the other. I did read to add it first, thanks a lot for letting me know man! Its important cause i guess its a good alkaline base, then adding all the acidic nutrients after evens it out? Hell if i know but i hope i didn't wait too long to add it. Im almost wondering if it will mess with them.. think about it, its like your giving your ladies a pair of new tits with that silicone!! Lmao ok admittedly i am a little drunk and had a good night out with the fam.. brother smacked a golf ball right into dads shin during mini golf tonight... good times!!! . .

Not too late for silica. Use very little....like .5 ml/gal. Doesn't take much. See if it gives what you want. Re-apply again if not where you want until satisfied. :Namaste:
I use 3ml in a 5 gallon mix I just always make sure to agitate water to let it bind bc you could get what looks like slug or slime in your feed from armor si. Its strong but helps with heat stress, thickens branches and cell walls to fight off disease or mold
