I intentionally left quite a bit of undergrowth and leaves in order to create a control.

Even though I have a lot of tops, I think they could be fatter if I pruned the lower garbage out.

You should have a cluster of pistols by week 2 to 3 and then start of 4 week and by week 6 they should extend down branch this is C99 week 5

Yea ive had 100% germ rates too.. i also put them in a tube with some gritty sand paper and shake em up to soften the shells. Hasn't taken longer then two and a half days for the seeds to sprout out of the dirt. I chuckle to myself when i see people taking longer with the 'faster' paper towel method and rapid rooters, or it just fails to work altogether. I understand that if you are in hydro you cant do that.. but in coco it should still work just fine.

I use jiffy pellets which is peat moss soaked in a solution of mammoth p and root accelerator, at ph 5.8 then in a humidity dome and 24 hours later ill have sprouts some are stubborn and take 48 hrs but I always have 100% success rate shit on my last clones I was 100% success rate to many clones I donated 4 to friends and family
 
the same results i got every time i used the paper towel technique! Until it didn't work. Just like Rapid rooters were 100% successful for me until they weren't. Sometimes i win and sometimes i loose. as long as i win more times than i loose and my bowl is still full! Chit...............
 
Ok cool, so today marks the end of week 4 start of week 5. They look thicker in pictures lol. Anyway hopefully by end of week 5 they pack on some size. They have the slightest tip burn but just ever so. I don't think they are hungry at least.

Don't count from flip count from first pistols, for example I flipped this 7 weeks but I am counting week 5.5 bc of stretch and transition to flower takes time and I consider that veg still

Also I don't know if you know this but red light promotes flower growth, blues are more for veg I see in your first picture that there is a lot of blue lights

ya I know I swear as soon as I brought it up (size question), I found I was underwatering and needless to say they are exploding now!!

Meaning now I can see the calyx and bud material as well what it should come to look like.

The blue light is apart from supplimental light. [Its hard to see with the photo.

I have them in a 5x5 with 1000w HPS but its too hot with a 6K btu window AC and central air so I have to run at 600w. That's ok too, as the canopy isn't full. It's about 12sq ft.

To suppliment some of the girls, "CD sedI've put an old mars 300 right under my scrubber to add some more light. This is were the blue is coming from deer extra light whether blue or both I guess is welcomed :)

On the point of light though, I'm on the newer wider spectrum bandwagon.

I really like what I see with others and ceramic metal halide in veg and even as a suppliment to HPS or LED in flower.

For me however I will just build my own COB LED for next spring and summer.

Im starting with a 12 COB 3500k fixture to match my tent. The wattage comes out to just above 600w, but it will be as good or better than my 1000W HPS. Sure as heck won't be as combersome!

So anyway if you see some that are blurple or blue or yellow its because of that more than likely lets hope lol:)

A mars 300 w led is great for supplemental light, I love mars LED!! I have 2 mars 192 and use them for supplemental and for my primary light, and for cermaic metal halide are GREAT, I have one. Mine is sunsystem model , its air cooled and I run a 3k bulb for seed to harvest yields are better on a 1000 w HPS but quality is better with CMH more trichs and more UV and ir blasting on them puts them into a mode that makes more trichs and grows SO fast my lemon haze is only 4 weeks in and looks like she is 6, I definitely recommend a mixed light spectrum my LEC and LED for flowering, my LED and 250 w HPS are for autos and vegging
 
That's awesome that im not the only one thinking that way.

I would have to say, if my assumption is correct, dollar for dollar the crazy stupid low price for this light has been the best addition.
It added an obviously huge increase in size over the HPS alone but more so the quality looks so much better.

Personally, I think it is the extra spectrum making it frostier, but it could just be better genetics or more light in general.

We laughed last night pointing to the buds under the LED and claiming dibs for personal. (jokingly, the missus and I smoke together anyway :)

Ya so anyway I threw it out there to PW, I just had an unstable plant switch sex and was paranoid about changing the environment.
