Imtoasted's Journey Of Perpetual Bliss

Tap water will have calcium and magnesium as well as a whole host of other crap. Chlorine fluoride lots of stuff at that level. Measuring with a tds meter which is the same thing as EC meter. Take the EC and times it by 500 or 700 depending on what meter you use.

I've been adding calmag to my water and feedings b/c of the LED's. It helps, so I guess it's safe to assume that I don't need to concern myself with that reading at this point. I guess it must me low where I live.

I use ro water when i feed and im gonna start using my tap water bubbled for 48 hours for my plain waterings.. i havent been and i think that is what is causing the iron deficiency. Maybe i do need to add some calmag.. ill add a ml or two next time i feed. But i think its the ro water, ever since ive been using it they have had light green/yellowish new growth. Could be the ph but it cant be cause i know for sure the water cant be under 4 or over 8 ph which is what is needed for AN's ph perfect nutes. I almost wonder if at this stage they go through a natural iron deficiency or somethibg weird like they need more iron at this stage. The same exact thing happened at this time last grow under different circumstances.

It is bc of RO water you strip it of everything but then have to add everything THAT YOU WANT BACK IN, this is my recipe in order amounts change where I am at in grow silica,cal-mag,micro,grow,bloom ,bloom booster, diamond nectar, mammoth p , earth juice hi-brix, that's every thing in order I follow a feeding chart and adjust during life of plant

Most bag soils have sufficient iron. Fe deficiencies can appear when bicarbonates in tap water push up pH. Doesn't take much of a rise. Happens more in coco than peat. :Namaste:

Tap water ppm is 110-120.. i may just use it from now on to be honest. 150 ppm in your water is the cutoff point for the nutes to keep the ph in balance so it should be ok. Plus i hate going to the store to get ro water lol. Thanks for the info and opinions guys!
I use tap water but I have 30 gallon res, I keep lid off and bubble with airstone, after days and I mean days it gets to be 50ppm I start at 300ppm

The dwarf star is on the way.. it says it will be here friday but i have to sign for it. Hopefully they will come on my lunch break, i would really like to get it setup this weekend. Not sure how that is going to work out lol. Is there some way to request to deliver at a certain time of day with fedex? I couldnt find anything.. ill probably call them tomorrow and find out.

I always call the delivery guy so I'm home. I call FedEx and they will pass on the instructions.

Ive never grown autos joe.. i will water that same way when i do though. Im thinking about doing the two i have next grow.

I'm a fan of autos now I think lol. Plus Mephisto Genetics looks like an awesome breeder and I gotta try something from them!

Happy for ya Toasted!! Dwarf Star is on the way!! Cant wait to see your girls under the great perfect sun spectrum. M thinking of making a cob light out of my old mars 600. I hate how much heat it produces and not to sure bout the spectrum. I have seen where people vuy cobs and then use the drivers heatsink and fans out if the light. I have seen a few tutorials on how to do it. I think that would be the most inexpensive way for me to get a cob light set up.

Wahoooo! Lol i have no friends and i didnt to ship it to my workplace cause that seems sketchy. Yea im gonna look at mephisto genetics too if i decide to grow some autos.. they definitely look awesome. Sounds great pino, i would agree that its gonna be the cheapest option and your light will have a case too unlike most cob builds. It will work out great!
