What are the nighttime temps? Seems like the plants look healthy otherwise.
In the 50’s at night We are expecting a little rain on Sunday

50s are getting cold enough for the plants to show that they're not particularly fond.
So Last night it rained. I huddled my 4 plants together under a Huge 11 ft umbrella but the still got wet. What do y'all do if your outdoor grow gets wet a few weeks from harvest? I just shook off the water and put them back out in the sun this morning .. Praying for a warm day!

Shaking them off is the best you can do. Good idea with the umbrella though!

I had my first sign of rot today, The plant is in week 7 of flower. I do the same just shake and let the sun do it's thing. You can put fans on them to help after the rain. Sometimes no matter what you do you may spot small areas that rot. I pluck it off and let it go. I will start watching the plant more closely though.

Oh no! aren't you just about ready for harvest?

Yes I have two that will be ready this weekend. The one I mentioned has Aphids as I have found out, likely the cause of the rot.

I think i'm going to Harvest on Oct 5th! Just ordered some nippers and this hanging mesh dryer

Should i get BOVEDA humidity packs? They come in a lot of different moisture levels ? how many do i need and what level of moisture packs should i get? And lastly How long do I let it dry before moving to jars? Man, I think I'll need a lot of jars for 4 plants, is there a cheaper method for storing?

It's way too early to predict an Oct. 5 harvest date!

Most folks use 62% packs so that's a good guideline, and how long the buds dry before burping will completely depend on the RH where they're drying. You want to jar them when the buds are around 70% so you can burp them down to 62% over two weeks or so, before sealing them up for the cure.

An alternative to jars for large harvests are turkey roasting bags in sealed buckets, like from Home Depot or Lowe's. I burp in the turkey bags but still cure in jars, but buckets work well for large quantities if they're closed tight.

@Morda Grown I've had major aphid infestations in flower without rot, so I'm thinking there was a different cause for yours. My rot was either caterpillars or dense buds/high humidity/bad luck.

They look ready now filled with cloudy Trichomes and my colas are huge! I figured if i wait longer that 2 more weeks I just have more chance for Bud rot to happen or TCH content to decline, no? I mean The seed company said this shoudl most likely be harvested Oct 5 to the 13.

My wife and I leaning toward vacuum sealed mason jars. Drying don't take long, it is the curing and long term storage that really matters. Everyone has their own methods I want to try @013 low and slow method. If he can pop in he would be the one to ask about that.

Good points, I was just thinking it was aphids because that is the only one that had 2 rot spots and was the only plant with the aphids. Could be a caterpillar got in, had high humidity in prier days as well.

I use this as my guide:

At the moment this is what two of mine look like and are very close.
seed 2 Branch Test-01.jpg

This little branch broke off last week so I decided to practice my trimming. I’m keeping it in a card board box for now. How did I do with the trimming?

Go with the 62% but in the 60 gr size.
The larger packs keep the rh in check better. They seem to last much longer.

I do a loose wet trim first, any leaf that the stem is visible gets nipped. Then after a couple days I hit the out side and trim again following the bud shape. The first trim gets tossed the second is almost all sugar leaf and I dry that and smoke it while waiting on the prime buds or if I have enough make hash and edibles.
