I Ain't Afraid Of No Ghost - Seedsman's Purple Ghost Candy Comparative Grow SIP/SCROG

My goal is 50% or less at all times during flower :) #nobudrot!
Hahaha ya it's easy to do when you set the dehuey to continuous, it'll be drier than a popcorn fart.

#nobudrot #fullnets haha

The lower you keep your lung room RH the less your exhaust needs to work to maintain proper RH in the tent. For me, that means I can keep more heat from the LED in the tent and still hit the proper RH.

Day 147 - Vegged for 56 - Day 42 of flower:

Well it’s DRY here! We have a red flag warning with regional humidity levels in the lower 20%’s!!!!

So humidity has been a breeze!

I’m seeing some new pistol growth but also noticing that a majority of the colas pistols have all turned and are pulling back towards the colas! I assuming that there might be another burst of growth/pistols as it seems a bit early…

Here are today’s pictures:

The heck with purple, just enjoy the sparkle!
I want purple sparkles though!!! Hahaha

Haha yeah I might have to do that at some point in time!

Yeah, it’s tough when it’s humid outside the lung room is more humid that the rest of the house with the aquarium and the plants!

It figures as soon as I got this dehumidifier the damn humidity levels plummeted!! So I don’t have a real good feel for what it’s doing, or not doing.

Day 149 - Vegged for 56 - Day 44 of flower:

Cruising along. Did some trichrome pics today and I was surprised to see so many cloudy trichomes.

From what I’m seeing it is looking to be chop time sooner than I would think or am I way off here?

There is still some clear ones around as well and I know one of the pictures with more of the amber is a sugar leaf.

Anyways still a bit off but much closer than I would have thought!! And much more cloudiness than less than a week ago!

Here is what the canopy is looking like

±10 days of excellent bulking! How many days since flip?
54 days of 12/12

I guess that another 10’days or so puts me right about the mark!

It’s a Fall Saturday afternoon that is in the mid 70°’s so that means Minnesotans are outside donchya know! There is a great breeze if not windy! Im in the back yard dealing with the chickens, ducks, veggie garden etc. and about every 5-10 mins i get the STRONGEST smell of my plants!!! Im like WOW! My wife says “ That’s a real good look for us” with her smirky proper British accent hahahah.

I thought I had enough new carbon to go in the filter and I didn’t… so now the filter is only half full and the neighborhood has a fantastic aroma!

Your welcome neighbors :)

OK here is a potential controversial question.

If I want to follow the DLI charts I should be backing off the light intensity. Which makes sense to me as the sun in my neck of the woods is not as intense as it was say 3 weeks ago.

So I am thinking of backing down by 25% for this last leg of flower.

Any reason to absolutely not do that??

Think about cutting the hours instead of the intensity. Go to 11/13, then to 10/14 as she finishes.

You know that’s probably a better way to go about it!!

Thanks for that!

Day 152 - Vegged for 56 - Day 47 of flower:

The ladies are still cruising and still getting some new pistols here and there.

I haven’t noticed a reduction in their ability to empty the reservoir in 24 hours or less :)

VPD has been good this week just noticed I cut the headings off in the picture below. It’s high/low/avg

I think those numbers along with massive amounts of airflow will help keep the bud rot away!

Just a waiting game now!

I did switch to 11/13 today and in a week will switch to 10/14 until they are done.

Here are how they look this afternoon

Day 153 - Vegged for 56 - Day 48 of flower:

Man they are still cruising!!! Got some pictures of some areas in the back of the tent that I cant really get an eye on up close.

That’s about it for today’s update. Frosty frosty.

So much fun happening in there! And I'll be interested at harvest where those tallest colas originate from on the plant. :hmmmm:
Yeah I was thinking that last week! It was all pretty much even pre flip!

For those of us who’ve been doing this a little while and have used hps , ceramic halide, tube lighting, and early model led etc when there was no dimmer options: only options we had were things like higher ceilings or changing light schedules as mentioned and got by fine with it. My favorite aspect of having the dimmer option is when buds get too close to the lights and rather than fighting with all the colas you can dial it back a little to prevent burning, dehydration and the associated stress.
