Chopped 6 plants. A little disappointed with the yield but at the same time I am very confident that the changes we've made are going to produce far better results. These were grown in soil and was my partner's first ever grow. He was real timid after listening to all of the Grow Boss's warnings of over feeding so we're going a bit heavier this time. Also we have changed to 2 parts coco coir mixed with 1 part growstone. I am excited .

Anyway, here is the harvest from 2 Trainwreck, 2 East Coast Sour Diesel, and 2 Gorilla Glue. Guessing 6 oz dried but we'll see. They were starved most of their lives .

Any thoughts on why these are droopy and maybe a little dry feeling? Humidity is regularly in the low 30s under a 400 MH (24 inches away).

The coco they are potted in seems to hold quite a bit of water and I wonder if it's just from coco being too wet ?

They've been re-potted today into the coco growstone mix in gallon pots. Were rooted very well. Should explode in new pots.

Hey pal, congratulations on the harvest, I know it's not as much as you wanted but still a good result mate.

I think you will really enjoy the coco, you have a lot to get excited about lol, I'm absolutely loving it mate.

Don't worry too much about them droopy leaves pal. Its nothing to worry about. I had a couple with leaves like that and it's most likely from slight over watering whilst the roots are getting established. Mine all recovered absolutely fine and grew very well. Try to give just enough nutrients that 24 hours later they will need more. They will definitely explode in their new pots mate, once the roots take hold they will go mad.

Have you thought about a humidifier to help get the humidity up?

Thanks y'all .

In the solo cups, was a mixture of high quality soil and coco coir. It drains well but stays wet for a long time.

My partner did add a humidifier recently. A small ultrasonic unit. I am not sure if he's gotten it to stabilize at a higher number yet.

No worries.

Very interesting, how come you decided to mix coco with soil for the starter cups? I'd say that's probably not helping as the soil will stay moist for longer and most likely stopping the coco from drying out as much as it would usually.

Ahh ok then, hopefully it will get the humidity up a little bit higher. As the girls start getting some more leaves and transpiring a little more it will help with the humidity.

I agree! My timid budtender was wanting to move toward coco but afraid to fully commit and thought the soil would be a protective measure?

Yeah I think it's the problem for sure. The soil will just want to retain more water keeping the pots wet for far longer than if you went with just coco. When you repotted them did you go with straight coco and no more soil mixed with those grow stones?

Yes, 1/3 stones and 2/3 coir now.

That's good to hear. I think all problems with dropping leaves will go away quickly now once the roots fill out into their new pots. Just remember to feed enough nutrients that 24 hours later they will need more and you'll be absolutely fine, your going to see some great results in coco. :)
