Hydro Grow: California Orange Bud

Thanks MK Ultraman, klep420, four20friend, jlaudiofan, and soniq420!

music4higher: About the only thing a soil grow and hydro grow have in common are the plants and making sure the ph of the water added is at the correct level. I was a fish out of water starting this grow. I wouldn't necessarily say hydro is harder than soil, it's just different. ;-)

jlaudiofan: I'm not sure if the strains are the same... Maybe they're similar.

soniq420: I will weigh out tomorrow and give a smoke report. Also, coming tomorrow are pics of the COB and Miss Daisy 2. ;-) Thanks everyone.

Hey Ms Fox, I look forward to your final results. I read your last journal (Bagseed) and this one, both are excellent.

Sorry about the delay guys! I have been sick, and haven't done too much for the past few days. Just too tired. This stuff hit me like a freight train. Just be happy you can't catch a cold through the computer. ;-) I will get to it. Thanks everyone for being patient.

Thanks Bee23! I'm doin better today, but not 100%. ;-)

music4higher: No winner as of yet, but I figured I'd let the community at 420 decide. ;-)

The total weight of the 1 B52 = 7.9 oz. I'm expecting to lose some weight, because they are still a bit damp.

Smoke Report: Let me tell ya, I wasn't surprised at all by these results. I initially thought Miss Daisy was a knockout; however, the B52 paralyzed me for a few hours. I was kinda stupid and took a few hits off the bowl, instead of just one. Big no no. My whole body was numb and tingly. It felt like I was moving, but that would have been impossible.

Today, Miss Daisy 2 went into the flowering chamber. I came to the conclusion that I'm gonna take a break from growing altogether until the move. So, I will finish up the COB and MD 2. ;-)

I am having some serious issues with heat, because FloridaBud added the Producer to the room, so we have 2 grow boxes goin in the same small room. We bought a moveable floor air conditioner used, and of course it needs to be fixed, because there's no cold air coming out of it. We're workin on it at the moment.

Thanks Harry Red and pan4gold49!

Unfortunately I had to chop the biggest of the B52's today... My heat issues have created a mold issue. This is sooo frustrating! We took the ac unit to a repair person, and haven't heard anything yet. He doesn't answer his phone either... So, I have two more plants without mold, but that won't be if I can't get the heat issues taken care of. I will be taking pics here in a bit on the latest harvested girl and the other girls (mold free). ;-)

Humidity is at 27% and the temps are at 88 degrees. Not quite a sauna, but the bud I have growin makes tightly compact buds, so they just hold in all the moisture. I guess I could try a dehumidifier, but funds are low due to the holidays.

Of course I can't find my cords to upload pics. :) I will look for them tomorrow. Sorry. The pics I got weren't that great anyways.

^ Good idea. Actually... Great idea. ;-) Thanks!

Oh, and I had to chop the COB today not the B52 (which has already been choped) ;-) Lol... I got them confused.

Understood Ms Fox, as even in outdoors climate such as here 24/7 365 we have to deal with mold. Cut it out and down, just to stop the growth of the mold to the remaining areas of the plant. I took the last bud plant out New Years as it has rained here for the last 3 weeks. Her daughters are taking over for her now.
