Thanks carcass, she really is a beauty and I can't take any credit for it. I did nothing, no topping, no LST, just let her grow out as she pleased. And to top it off she was a @SeedsMan freebie from my first order! Have one seed left.
That's a hell of a deal - Knowing she was free makes her even prettier!

Thanks guys! This is the most nerve-wracking time of the grow for me. Humidity is in the high sixties so I worry about mold or bud rot. Then I worry will Monday be too soon? Too late? And the smell!
I can't chop before Monday as we are having my wife's big annual party on Sunday and nobody knows about the grow. Even though it's legal I really don't want anyone to know about it. I've known about this since the start of this grow and I've been dreading it the whole time. So my biggest worry is about the smell.
Both big plants have a strong odour. The Lambs breath smells flowery-sweet in a kind of leathery way. The AK-48 smells strongly of diesely skunk. In the evening a couple of hours before lights off they both really unload. The perfume is thick and sticky-seeming. Hopefully it hasn't actually been sticky, adhering to the furniture etc. Anyway tonight I've got the Infinity six inch blowing through the big old carbon filter. I might not even be able to tell if it's working as I imagine smells that aren't there and am blind to those that are! Two stressful days ahead and then it's over!

I hope the party goes without a hitch, Hutch. No doubt you have air ‘fresheners’ (why are they called that when they stink?) and incense pegged out. With your carbon filter and your fan is quiet enough that’s all you can do. No need to worry anymore.

I hope the party goes great. I too had a similar thing at Thanksgiving.
Word of advice, dont stress too much. I was so paranoid and people kept asking me what's up. At one point, someone said, "oh gawd what's that smell?"
I was like crap, they got me. Then someone was like "the baby pooped".

Thanks! I think it is working. Couldn't smell a thing last night with the fan at half blast. And quiet as heck. The grow closet is right beside the door to the bathroom so anyone who needs it is going to have to walk right past the closet. I could faintly hear something but it could have been coming from the apartment next door.

Hahaha! Omg,that's hilarious! I would have had a heart attack right then and there. I imagine this must happen to a lot of growers but your story really helps. Right now I'm feeling pretty serene but this time tomorrow I will be thinking about how benzos would really calm me down. A forty year struggle that I've finally been able to keep at bay thanks to cannabis and this site.
