Here's today's update, November 9...
Lambs Breath Autoflower Day 10/53 - 23,000 lux - 19" from light - 10" tall
She's reacting to my over-feeding mistake. Should be ok unless I screw up again.
Lambs Breath Autoflower Day 10/53 Buds are starting with a stretch.
AK-48 Autoflower Day 20/53 - 44,000 lux - 12" from light - 34.25" tall
That thing on top looks a little sparse right now!
The daily group shot.
Here's my 120w fixture from
@BudgetLED all hung up nice and even with the new ratchet hangers. I think I can squeeze another couple of inches but don't think I will.
Phantom Cookies Domina - Day 24 - 19,000 lux - 27" from light - 2" tall
Four little side shoots are growing out right on schedule. If they knew what was going to happen to them next they would shrink back into their warm little nodes.
Chocolate Haze - Day 24 - 20,000 lux - 25" from light - 3.5" tall
I think I will attempt multiple toppings rather than quadline on the Chocolate Haze. There will be some tying down as well. I would like to veg both these plants until mid-December. There will be a learning curve as I have never grown a photoperiod before nor tried to contain growth for that long. Should be fun.
That is my main gripe with autoflowers, there not really vegging until day 15 or so and they're flowering by day 30, usually, so you only have a two week window for playing with it. Sometimes it will go longer like the Lambs Breath which went 7 weeks before flowering, but it is unpredictable and hard to plan out.
In other news, installed a usb fan in a vent in the veg tent. I was having to keep the door open to keep it from over heating. It seems to be working! Temps have held steady all day at 26 which is close enough to ok for me, and the rh is around 48 in the tent and 50 at pot level which is also close enough. Proper humidity would only make them grow more anyway, right? Slow veg is what we want. I'm pumping all the light they can handle I wonder if I should cut back to just the single cob on my blurple?
That's all folks! Thanks for dropping by!
