I thoght males have thc just not as much? no?

With potent cannabis strains the males can develop trichomes on their fan leaves.

Might it be that the trichomes are CBD? I was under the impression that when they go from clear to amber the female plant becomes higher in CBDs. So does that mean the Trichomes would become CBD? And in the male the trichomes are CBD already? I am not making a statement, it's just a question looking for an answer. I am a newbie and I don't have any answers for any questions concerning chemical or physiological make up of cannabis. Forgive me for sounding like I already know any answers.

Not really my area of expertise bro.

I'm all into Colloidal Silver feminizing to avoid growing males.

I hate wasting weeks of light, and nutes growing them out.

I think they're a bit too young, and small myself to be much use tho.

At least when I pull them up. Growing them out is a bit too risky for me.

One of my readers my have some input on the subject.

I did a light defoliation on my supercrop experiment. It's looking good overall.

Some articles on other sites ive read said the male sativas and indicas are good for high quantities of cbd..more in indicas
Good research article..
UNODC - Bulletin on Narcotics - 1971 Issue 1 - 005
From article..
"Our data show that cannabinoids are present in all parts of the plants. Calculated on dry weight, the cannabinoids are most abundant in flowering tops and the young, small leaves surrounding the flowers. Analysis of different parts of the plant suggest that there is usually little variation in the relative amounts of cannabidiol/Δ1-tetrahydrocannabinol although we have encountered some minor deviations (fig. 1), mainly in cannabinoid content of stem and large leaves.
A comparison (table II) between male and female Cannabis shows that both sexes contain roughly similar amounts of cannabinoids in similar ratios. Unpublished data ( [ 15] ) on Cannabis grown in Mississippi, USA are in general agreement with this conclusion."

When trichomes change from clear to cloudy this is an indication that the plant is now making cannabinoids such as THC and CBD and more in the trichomes and individual strain not an indication of sexual preference in trichomes.

Hey toker, on autos, how long does it take for pollen sacks to show after using CS? 9 days from seed it showed female, I have been spraying new growth for 3 weeks. It continued to put on female flowers with side growth for 2 weeks. Now seems all growth has stopped and there is no odor. I have started to employ light stress also. Please help a newbie CS user. My CS is from a 27v generator I made. I let it run for 5 hours in a quart , that I later mixed with 2 more quarts . All water is distilled. Storage container is wrapped in foil and stored in a sealed cabinet.

Well a Colloidal Silver generator is great for those who do it right.

But because it's a home build it's tough to diagnose all the various things that can go wrong.

You can actually create toxic silver compounds instead of Colloidal Silver.

That's one of the many reasons I recommend buying a good off the shelf brand of Colloidal Silver.

Those generators can make good Colloidal Silver under about 15 PPM, but after that point

the increased conductivity snowballs, and the Colloidal Silver becomes tainted, and toxic.

If the color of your Colloidal Silver is reddish, or brown it most certainly is not pure.

A good high PPM Colloidal Silver is light yellow in color.

Pure high PPM Colloidal Silver is extremely difficult to achieve at home.

Your Colloidal Silver may test high in PPM, but how much is really Colloidal Silver?

That being said three weeks is not to long to spray.

I've achieved results after 35 days at the latest. (so far)

YAY! My dreams of making Buddha's Cross feminized seeds may become a reality!

Because my last chance seed turned out to be female!! WOW

I'm growing it out a few more days before I start spraying Colloidal Silver.

I need a little wiggle room for my paper plate to fit in between branches. :)

The story of the Mystery Seed!

After the disappointing results of sprouting Buddha's Cross seeds I decided to sprout more of my Pink Salad.

Only two Buddha's Cross sprouted outta six seeds germed, so I germed more PS to fill the empty buckets.

Around the the time the new seeds were ready to plant

I spotted a new sprout rising outta one of the mature PS plant buckets.

I immediately pulled it out by the stalk, and tossed it into my leaf bin. (I could feel ripping roots)

A few hours passed, and I decided it was time to plant my new PS sprouts.

I even broke out my ghetto homemade buckets this time wanting to fill empty space.

Planting all my new PS sprouts I discovered I'd miscalculated, and now had an empty bucket.

Wondering what to do next I spotted the pulled Mystery Sprout on the top of my trash pile.

I thought for sure it would die, but planted it anyway just to fill the space.

It didn't die! It thrived, and is now the female plant you see here.

I get a lot of these sprouts popping up. It kinda goes with making Colloidal Silver fem seeds.

I'm thinking it's a HBD fem seed from my last Colloidal Silver run. :thumb:

Yeah a few people have asked about my camera.

It's a Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 10.1MP. It's about seven years old, and the size of a deck of cards.

It's got a built in macro for flower photos. I help out by shooting 10+ pics for every one I use.

I only use the ones that look great. :)

I spent almost 300 bucks, but now Casio has improved designs of the same model for much less.

Mines 10MP but now you can get 12MP, or even 14MP Casio cameras for under 150 bucks.

I've even seen them for much less!
