A closeup of my Pink Salad getting frosty.

The Pink salad isn't really part of this Colloidal Silver project.

But I did make my 1,000 plus Pink Salad fem seeds with Colloidal Silver.

I guess I'll never run outta these feminized seeds. :)

When you use colloidal silver you are basically making your plant toxic. A better why to herm, which is what that does, is to deny it water or light for a day or so. You can even stress it by beating it. I know that sounds crazy but it works. I beat a few stems at the start of the cycle and when it gets a couple of good buds I beat it again. Never fails. I always get fems on the stems I beat. Sounds funny but it works… :) Try to stay as simple as possible.

Absolutely beautiful !! We should all be more concerned with building our seeds. Myself I am just a personal grower and don't want to buy 5 seeds at a time unless I am trying something new. Now I have a grip on the CS manipulation, I will never run out of seeds... Woop woop. I will put a CS journal together when I get it a little further along. If I can make this work, anyone with a little dedication can.

Yeah it was about six weeks ago, and Pink Salad is supposed to finish in eight weeks.

I do push the nutes to the limits tho. (even as seedlings)

I don't recommend doing that until you know the strain you're growing.

You think of seeds differently when you've got your own female seed bank.

The hassle of ordering, and high cost of seeds makes you babysit every one.

Colloidal Silver seed feminizing makes you think more like a real farmer.

Like how your time becomes important again, and you can start more seeds than you need too.

So you can pull up crappy seeds that get a bad start.

You experiment with ideas that you're afraid to try otherwize.

A lot of freedom comes with a stockpile of fem seeds.

I'll stick with Colloidal Silver feminizing for now. Colloidal Silver is non toxic, but you should never smoke a plant sprayed with Colloidal Silver. Hot silver particles in your lungs is very bad for you. (People do inhale cool colloidal silver with a nebulizer for health reasons) You can eat it too. Like in Cannabutter. I'm not the weed beater type. hehe. Anyway there are other methods out there bro, but this thread is about Colloidal Silver feminizing. Help me out by sticking on topic please. Using Colloidal Silver may not be for you, and that's fine with me. Other people may be interested tho, so I'm writing this for them.

The idea may be worth exploring tho, so maybe you should start a seed journal. :)

what would you recommend for that size, i want a light strictly for max vegging, not a "does both".

I want to light an area the size of 2 basketballs side by each, w one light, again the tent is 2' x 3', height is limitless, a no-factor.

I'm lazy and I'll ask you,:high-five: TOKER :passitleft:, questions until you are so fed up, you refer me to the website, lol.

I've still got two more strains to do after this one. :)

Hopefully this will be the last self pollination.

It's more exciting pollinating more then half a plant. :rofl:

As always, looking great toker. One of your comments struck a cord with me. You said something like having alot of seeds allows you to grow like a real farmer, not babysitting your 1 or 2 plants, but growing a tent full. It most definitely allows you to be more comfortable growing. You can weed out the stragglers, no pun intended, experiment with different techniques, and all in all, just give you some piece of mind that if 1 or 2 ladies bites the dust, there are 10 more to make up for her.

I hope to start my CS journey soon so I can join you guys in some real farming and cultivation

A farmer growing corn doesn't obsess over a single stalk.

They look at the crop as a whole, and stragglers just get culled.

I'm not saying cannabis seeds aren't precious. They're just not lord of the rings precious. :rofl:

The prices some seed companies want THEY think their seeds are "lord of the rings precious" LOL :) This is why spraying with CS is THE SHIT!!! :):)

Im about to give my hand at making fem pollen with photo period plants, probably in the next 3 months. Ill be sure to get you on board when i do TOKE!!
