How to Make Feminized Seeds With Colloidal Silver - Sponsored by Intelligent-Gro LED

Re: How to Make Feminized Seeds with Colloidal Silver - Sponsored by Intelligent-Gro

Some photo growers start on a 12/12 light cycle to keep the plants smaller, and shorten the grow time.

That's about all I know about it tho. I'm worried about your setup a bit.

That plant looks like it could split open your hydro rail in flower.

I've seen pink salad autos grown huge in that same kinda setup.

Those were some of the most crazy dense purple buds I'd ever seen.

Re: How to Make Feminized Seeds with Colloidal Silver - Sponsored by Intelligent-Gro

Yea, you can see in the pics, the Net cup is being pushed up and out of the hydro rail. The haze that I removed did the same thing.

I think the only way to fix that problem would be to get deeper trays, and I don't know if they even make them.

If the chronic splits it open, but produces some big delicious buds, Ill call it a win and get a new tray......

Ok, so 12/12 from the start...... Thanks T!

That's an honorable move of Intelligent-Gro LED.

My sponsor Intelligent-Gro LED has decided to send out upgrades to all owners of Gen 1 models.

It seems I'll be receiving an upgrade where everything within the shells case is replaced.

Slide out the old parts, and slide in the new gen 2,

and pack the old gen 1 guts up in the same mailer, and send it back.

Everyones getting one over the next few weeks. :)

Excellent warranty support!

Dave's a good guy. I've talked to him about this and he wants to treat people the way he'd want to be treated.

As legalization spreads, this is going to become big business, and it's nice to see genuinely decent, sincere people involved with this amazing plant. My local hydro shop is like that, a family operated business, just good people. It's enjoyable to support people like that. :)

haha you don't gotta tell me.

I'm even happy with the old light.

Now I'm getting a new one. That's pretty cool. :)

If you like the old light and are not having issues, maybe ask Dave if you could just keep it and not exchange it. This would save Dave money and it would be treating him like he treats others. I know we all want the newest and best but happiness is happiness, why mess with it.

I so seldom find happiness, I would not pass it up hoping for something better.

It would be cool except that being a sponsored grow I'm able to demonstrate what's going to happen.

Not to mention the increased PAR, Umol, Watts, cooler temperature, and reliability.

Plus with months to go on my project it's better to demonstrate the actual product currently being sold.

I did not even think about being a sponsor. Good call.

So you are spraying them for more than the 5 days? Maybe I need to go back and read the thread again. But I thought you were only needing to do it for 5 days.
Also I cannot speak on behalf of that company's products. But that is some amazing loyalty to the customers.. Most company's want you to be loyal to them. And that type of stuff like that makes it hard not to be..

Re: How to Make Feminized Seeds with Colloidal Silver - Sponsored by Intelligent-Gro

Yeah you probably should read it again. haha

But you spray the Colloidal Silver daily until sacs pop open.

(total number of days is unknown, because every time it's different)

It's all pretty simple stuff, but small details make it hard to explain in one post.

So most of the details are explained as they happen during the grow. :)

drawer-full-of-nutes.png

My dry nutrients are manufactured by JR PETERS. :)

I was afraid to post who made my nutes because I thought it was against the rules.

I've been reviewing those rules lately tho, and I guess it's Ok as long as you don't post links.

This is about 46 pounds of dry nutrients, and it cost me 100 bucks delivery included.

I've used about 4 pounds in 2+ years of growing my autoflowers.

That should give you some idea how long this stuff will last me. (forever)

I use Jack’s Professional 5-12-26 (left), and 15-0-0 Calcium Nitrate (right)

Also in this drawer is about 6 pounds of Epsom Salt. (middle)

I'm happy with the price, and rapid growth, but think I could do better in late flower.

It's fine for now making my Colloidal Silver fem seeds, but later I'll want super fat buds.

So I'm thinking of trying KoolBloom 2-45-28 the last few weeks of flower. (Thanks KJC)

A 2.2 pound bag is about 25 bucks, and it should last a long time.

Maybe I'll even get some Snow Storm Ultra. haha

My new surprize has arrived! Once again I'm sponsored!!

unpack-021.png

In the middle of my Colloidal Silver journal, and I receive a new I-Gro LED!

unpack-03.png

It's the generation two 135w Intelligent-Gro LED! How cool is that?

unpack-04.png

My sponsor is the coolest ever, and I am so HAPPY! :)

unpack-05.png

All the same cool gear. Like the controler, remote, and installation hardware.

unpack-06.png

Haha and surprize! I built a new cab! Total cost 2 bucks! (white spray paint)

shel03.png

It has one of my garbage bin finds. A blue drain tray. I installed the drain myself.

shel02.png

It's made outta an old shelf from my storeroom. The lowest shelf holds my drain pan.

unpack-07.png

The 135w I-Gro hangs on chains from the top shelf. It's adjustable in height.

unpack-08.png

The controller sits above the shelf nicely. It's already programed on my 16/8 schedule.

unpack-09.png

I made curtains from two panda film 10 gallon grow bags.

unpack-10.png

I made it so the curtains roll up, and out of the way.

unpack-11.png

A shoelace string latch holds the rolled curtains in place.

unpack-12.png

Both sides roll up, and tie down so I can work on my little garden.

They block light, and reflect it back to the plants.

unpack-13.png

It's a great new addition to my grow space! Thanks Intelligent-Gro! YOU ROCK! :)

C5-POLLENS-02.png

The Colloidal Silver induced sacs, and nanners are looking pretty mature,

and I've started moving a few of them to the tops of buds.

C5-POLLENS-01s.png

I might let this go on longer than five days this time.

So I can really try, and max out the seeds from this run.
