Horse's Coco Hempy 400w CMH Vertical Crawlspace Grow 2010

I actually like my mini-hempies to get to that stage. They stop growing up and get bushier. Just have to soak them daily.

I grew a clone out all the way to harvest in a beer cup. Needed water near the beginning and end of 12/12. Grew 16" tall with a nice long cola. No leaf or growth problems associated with being root bound.

Don't plan on ever going smaller than 1/2 gallon again. Might do a grow with nothing but gallons. However, the 2.5 gallon hempies seem to give me the perfect balance between hempy and soil.

Lava rock buckets are never light.:grinjoint: You need to pay attention to leaf droop. Kind of determined that mine need at least 1/2 gallon every two days but can go longer on full flood. The good thing about hempy is that it is real hard to overwater. :) It might be good to do 1 coco/perlite hempy at the same time. When it is light, water everything.:rollit:

I have a lava rock *mulch* on a lot of the girls... you're right, they're never light... but they do get lighter.

I have been thinking of putting a few to go cup clones inside the cage... maximize the miniscule :grinjoint:

Another reason I am getting fonder of the White Russians is that they're cheap dates... 1/2gal/3l bucket every week. That, and, they seem to wring everything out of their nutes...

Weather report... the Snowstorm seems to have caused a lot of the Rusky stamens to turn brown. They are on day 42, and it is allegedly a 53-63 day strain. Last grow went more like 70 days, and these current plants have had cooler, but acceptable temps.

The JH stamens are still brilliant white.

Neither are still in the quantum trich leap I saw the day after spraying. I'll wait the full week before hitting them again.

Get the Vigoro rocks, they're much smaller, fits our needs better. Our Lowe's doesn't have them, but HD does. Walmart's rocks are huge :grinjoint:

I didn't phrase that very well, 'good sized' sounds like I meant bigger but I know to get the smaller vigoro ones. The way my luck's been running I'll probably get the one bag that bypassed quality control and is full of giant lumps of lava.

Thanks for watching my back bro.

I should apologize to Butler, every team I wanted this year promptly lost their next game.

On to baseball!

Ha! Last night was kinda hard to take... and except for KY, I jinxed all my teams, too.

We've got one choking azzed baseball team :)

Great looking photos man! And I Love the jamaica outside. That looks awesome. Any idea when the chop date for that is going to be?
Also was finally catching up, and a page back saw that you used the snowstorm.. Im very curious as to your results with it. Ive been looking for a while now at that and purple maxx. Trying to find out more information about it. All ive heard is that you have to be extremely careful and drop your ppm way way down..
So if you ind any more information about your snowstorm, that would be awesome.
Deinitely stoked the way stuff is looking in there! Good work!

Thanks for stooping in, farnorth. If I ever see seeds on the Jamaican, that's when she's comin down! I think the Reverse did work. I haven't seen any more balls, but I am wary of moving her back inside. Too much at stake.

With her going from 12/12 inside, to days getting longer outside, she may just go til the fall?

I'm going to hit the bloomers with the snowstorm again in a few days. I gave them all a half dose of MaxiBloom and KoolBloom last night, just to stay on the safe side.

I was reading on another site that Snowstorm could cut the smell and taste, besides being snake oil... but I sure have seen some pics of frosty buds from growers that love it ;)

I had a chance to snap some shots today, and thought I'd pass them along.

All the bloomers got a taste of KoolBloom last night. Gnats are back even with the Mosquito Dunks and Eco Smart. I'm going to go to the mat this time w/ Azamax to the max, dang.

The cage is a 6" grid, for a little scale.

Garden 1. Jack Herer on the left, White Russian right. Jack is either 42 days, 60 days, or something in between. Who needs stinking records! The Ruskies are on day 41.

Jack is bulking up, just not filling in as much as I'd like. Bad parenting, I'm guessing. Should have fed her more white bread.

Russian I. Both Russians showed some browning on some of the stamens after the snowstorm. Last grow they stayed mostly a brilliant white til close to the end?

Sorry if it's a picture overload, but I've got to get them up and write stuff down, or it all just blends together :tokin:

Looking great Horse! Wonder what it means to have all the WR's pistils turn brown? They remind me of my ak with those fat colas.

What's the latest on the claw? I couldn't really tell from the pics.

:bravo:

What claw? :tokin:

Naaah, it seems to be what happens to this pheno when I grow it :MoreNutes: It also seems to have no deleterious effect, it would be hard to make it any better smoke :rasta: Unfortunately, it seems to get better with age, so I'll really never find out just how good it COULD get :yummy:

I think the Snowstorm did that to the stamens. It's just a light browning, though. I'm hoping it's an essential oil boinking going on ;)

And, 1/2 of the Russians proud parents are AK47, just a shot away :grinjoint:

Horse you have full house there. A full crawl that is.

The Jacks look like snowman arms, white! :surf:

What Claw? :rasta:

Like your style " Who needs stinking records! ". :surf:

The Hawaiian looks great, leaves going every which way. :surf:

You've convinced me to grow my White Russians. They look beautiful. :surf:

You can never post too many pictures in eyes. :surf:

What a fine grow, Buddy. :thumb:

Hay OMM, always a pleasure to have you to stop by... 'ere :thumb:

This Hawaiian, and these White Russians have very similar growth patterns. Any branches go straight up, and, like you noticed, the leaves are willy nilly in their directions. Plants that show organized chaos?
It's gonna be even more packed in down there... the CMH CDM bulb should be here today

Those little Jacks are doing well flowering under the T5s, but I'm hoping the CDM will pump them up!

Speaking of CMH bulbs, since you're checking them out, here's a notice I got from Advanced:

So this link won't be good when we post the updated video however you ought to see this now...

Hay Horse I posted the same vid on my thread. Is that the ge bulb that HTG is selling now? If so that's scary.

I'm not sure, but I think Philips is the only one making these bulbs that hat has an open fixture rating.

And, yeah, I think that is the ge bulb that HTG is selling.

Haaaaayyyyy! I got the CDM bulb today... only 3 weeks after I ordered it. They did keep communicating, to be fair about it.

I am stoked to see how the T5 Jacks like it :rasta:

Hey Horse. Thanks for the video. Not going to get a GE Bulb for sure. In the Hydro store today, every one of their hood/light combos had a shield. Guess I know why now.
Place made me really frustrated today. They had this, but we have order that, and we are out of that, on and on. Said they would give me a 15% discount if I bought a system. But the were so over priced it still would not help. Kinda threw a hissy fit in my Journal today. Was really frustrated.
Did get the Panda though.

The Jacks will love the new bulb, I'm sure. :thumb:
