Honey, I Think I Broke My Bag Seed - Grow Journal - 2014

I was playing today in garden with leaf tucking to maximize light exposure to inner nodes and this is what I came up with :)

I took a picture of Power Flowers roots today, was just wondering if she might be close to being root bound as I feel she has kinda slowed down in stretching, though pistil production still going full force, every few hours I see changes. Still, she requires watering every 3rd day, no yellowing on leaves to indicate root bound but I feel she requires longer to recover from droopiness after watering. Should I try to transplant her or she will be fine till finishing.

Since you already pulled it out of the pot, transplanting can only help her, and couldn't hurt the plant at all.

How far are you into flower? 8-9 weeks is what the breeder says for flower time. Assume 12 weeks to give yourself some wiggle room.

Can she survive for the remainder of flower ok? You have some roots layering up at the bottom, and even if the new pot is 2" larger diameter, that translates to a lot of soil area for the roots to spread out to.

Ok. Thanks guys, I'll run tomorrow to closest gardening store for bigger pots. My Blue Cheese has nowhere near that many roots but is taller and bulkier
