Yeah, I just finished reading your update. Sorry to hear that and reading Dusty's description about the smoke it's real shame, also I wanted to see how she would turn out for you if she would have been a she.

By now most of the basil plants are plucked out, eaten fresh with some pasta :) and are left only the bigger and stronger ones to avoid overcrowding. I even topped some of them.

I know I said No Training for Blue Cheese, but I just couldn't keep my hands of her. A bit of bending, a bit of pinching and a bit of tucking for light exposure.

You got my mouth watering. Just curious how come you start your seeds on 12/12 and with that how long do they take start to finish.
 
I read it takes about 7 to 9 weeks from seed to harvest, requires less space for one plant and still get decent yield. Blue cheese took only 18 days to show 1st pistils when I let her grow in her final pot without any sort of training. Power Flower took 28 days with transplant, failed fim, then top and unnecessary defol, which will basically bite me in the ass at the end harvest wise.
Started 12/12 From Seed because I'm very impatient person, but I am learning this magical skill called patients.
 
I already had seeds from when I ordered back in Latvia where I was growing in a PC case. Decided to hold back on new seed purchases.
 
You should have put a few outside for the summer thats what i did with my free photo seed. Just an extra bonus for me come autum
 
I live in apartment, granted only 3 apartment building and we are only ones here and have plenty of privacy but I just don't want to risk it as I still don't fully understand cannabis laws here and don't want to get in trouble. Plus the space I could put a pot outside is always in shade.
 
I get what you mean with not wanting to risk it. I moved mine to the mother in laws back garden as she has a bit more privicy than me. With the uk law being stupid, but unless you got a factory going the police aint got enough man power or money to worry about people who just grow for them selfs. So unless someone grasses you up you be ok
 
When i was living in Wales the police would see you rolling a spliff and say nothing as they knew that if people were stoned then it would be no trouble. I did live in a few rough places though.
 
A little accident just happened, heard a noise coming from garden room and went to check up. Somehow filter dismounted and fell, to fix it I had to open tent and expose my plants to room light 2 times for a minute each time with 30 min in between of total darkness. Unfortunately it couldn't wait till morning because all apartment was smelling weed in metter of minutes, also when the filter fell it unplugged light panels power cord. Luckily as far as I could tell from quick glance no plants were harmed, will inspect more in the morning to see what damage was done. Hope it wont affect flowering.
