Old Miss Gorilla Glue made the decision for me because she stopped drinking and the bud on a couple of her branches was dying so I harvested the old gal today. I hate to see them go but it was her time and I tried to give her a good life.
The wet harvest weight was 41 ounces. I have only been giving it about a litre of water a day because I read about that PhD graduate who was the first to get his degree studying cannabis in Canada that starving them of water at the end increases resin. Don't know if it does but it's also easier to throw out the soil in the garbage if it's dry and light in weight.
So I'm thinking this bud might be drier than normal and I might get a little more than 25% so a little more than 10 ounces but whatever I get I'm happy with it and I consider it a very successful grow. Just shows though that that Northern Lights plant I grew really was a great plant because I didn't veg it as long and it was also in a 5 gallon and this was in a 10 gallon and I got 10 ounces off it.
Here's a little stroll down memory lane.
My GG compared to my NL.
