Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I'm considering dropping a pair (they're regs) for the fall, along with a Durban Poison. That will finish out my year of sativas!
I have considered Durban Poison. I have never run a true Sativa but now I have a few on the way. I hope I like them. Next strains I think I will run are Super Lemon Haze and Chemdawg!

Sounds like a couple of good ones, I have Durban from Ace.
It is tempting when people talk about great strains but I should be set for quite a while with the seeds I have especially if I do some cuttings and also I still have some of the chemicals left to make S1's if I love any of my phenos. I'm sure I will buy more seeds eventually but with my four plant limit, I am set for quite a while. Knock on wood.

Have you run any Durban yet?

i’m running a Durban Poison outside right now near The Hammer. I was sort of talked into trying it from guys I gave some clones too last year. Everyone talked about how it’s their favourite summer smoke. Plus, they wanted me to clone it for them as well. Never happened because of the Covid situation. Like you I’ve been an Indica of hybrid leaning grower, but have now ventured in towards the Sativa territory with DP and leaning hybrids that way with a Blue Dream, Green Crack, American Pie and Jack Herer. Yeah, I’m breaking the law but I need variety.

plus sign me up for a “help” group for seed buying. I have tons of seed strains I haven’t tried and yet I just spent a shit ton on more and again I spent it on Sativa strains. Lemonchello Haze and Amnesia Lemon Kush will hopefully be here soon and have it in for my next tent grow. will be fun to watch your grow with mine

The struggle is real! Lol

I think Jack Herer is another one eventually I must try.

Bruce Banner seems to have calmed down a bit and isn't stretching at such a frantic pace to the point I think I will be ok for headroom. She is looking happy and healthy too for now.

For only having been flipped two weeks and two days ago she has some nice little buds developing with a nice supply of trichs on her sugar leaves. A promising start.

It looks like my Superduper Cropping Method yielded some pretty dramatic results considering regular super cropping was shaken off by this plant like I was just a puny human. In the following photo, you can see the Superduper Cropping which is about a week old, in the yellow circle, and the result of how low the branch stayed compared to the upper canopy in the white oval. Obviously I gave it too much since it is too low but it is gratifying to know that more aggressive Superduper Cropping can tame even The Hulk with the growing lineup of Sativas I have.

Hey man, it’s a alive and budding so it’s not too low! :cheesygrinsmiley: I’m am green with envy of your plants Homer. I’ve spent the last few months with Ugly outdoor (and Indoor) plants. I feel like the fall will lead me into a super clean and better indoor environment where I might be able to grow some beauties like that. Pretty Green leaves matter to me...looking forward to seeing your next batch grow. :green_heart:

No need for envy my friend. If a Homer can grow a nice plant anyone can. It took me almost 2 yrs to get to this point bearing in mind I am going through a fortunate period of good luck. I am sure soon you will have bountiful buds and full jars.

The sample buds of the GG I took a few days ago are now dried to 63% so I made an exception and rolled one up for, "science". I got a decent buzz but don't feel the same couch lock feeling I get with NL so far which is what I was hoping for.

For some reason, I took pics with one of my NL and one of my dried GG buds. The NL seems frostier but the GG is showing more sugar leaves so they may be closer than it looks.

They’re going to be different so it’s hard to compare the two.
You are right about that. About an hour after smoking the GG I don't feel sedated at all but nicely elevated. I think it will be a big improvement as my daytime mico-doser over the NL.

I smoke my Glookies (GG#4 x GSC Thin Mint) as my afternoon med after work (or White Widow) I’m the opposite spectrum reaction wise. I tend to be more energetic and focused for the first hour before lulling into a comfy sedation. Beautiful nuggs
