My Dr. Seeds Gorilla Glue is still, knock on wood, doing quite well. I've learned the hard way not to get too excited until they are harvested because at any stage disaster can strike but I especially hope this one is good being the only plant I'm growing right now; I'm paying the price now of not having any plants budding for my issues with The Demon Seed strain previously.

I watered today at 4 g per gallon MC. I started at 2 g per gallon and have increased .5 g per gallon each watering. That is a fairly rapid increase but the plant looks healthy with no burnt tips and according to the Dr. Seeds website this plant is a heavy feeder so hopefully, she's fine.

Her training is going nicely. When I had two plants I would just do a twinlinging because I was trying to get rectangular plants so two together would make a square to match my light but since I only have one plant this one is a quadlinging.

I gave away some of my bud to some friends who are experienced smokers and they really liked my Northern Lights. Said it smelled good, tasted good when smoked, burned nicely and most importantly did the trick so I was really happy about that. I burned one the other day myself, for science, and I didn't cough once so I think there is something to the bag in the refrigerator drying method.

Hope everyone is dealing with The Armageddon in strides. I've been walking lately and it's nice to get out of the house and get a little exercise. I do about 5000 steps and of course, the experts say you should shoot for 10,000. Nothing is ever enough, LOL.

These days most of my exercise just comes from moving the plants around!
That is better than nothing for sure especially with the considerable garden you have. :bravo: I was turning into a real slug though and I have only been walking for not even a week yet. It's only the last couple of months I've really felt myself again and had my energy back after all my treatments so right when I was ready to get back into life after almost a year distracted this darn thing comes along. Not much I can do about it so just trying to make the best of it. :meditate:

My job was so physically demanding when I was young I used to tell people I felt I got paid to work out and near the end of my career I used to tell people I got paid to be tortured, LOL. That's a joke but it did kind of actually felt like that especially since my knees are pretty much shot now but the benefit was I didn't have to exercise because I got such a work out at work so this is the first time I've had to deal with forcing myself and I understand your situation because I don't want to do it and I'm not sure how long I will keep it up.

Since they came out with that line that sitting is the new smoking I tell people I sit about two packs a day. And today on the news some psychologist or whatnot was saying loneliness is the new smoking because it shortens your life. I think I should just take up smoking, LOL.

Yes, unfortunately I do have osteoarthritis in both knees. My meniscus is torn and they had to use a second page to describe all the problems from the MRI on my left knee. It's getting to the point where I really should get them done because it's simply hard to do any exercise with bad knees. I have used the bandages and lots of natural stuff but they're just plain shot. I've been putting it off because it's just a big ordeal and I've had my fill of hospitals for of while. My buddy from high school's father who is 90 now had his knees done with only a local anaesthetic. I just couldn't imagine that; I'd rather risk of dying.

My wife had a total left knee replacement in Dec of 2018. It was an overnight hospital stay, and about a month of healing to get to the point she could navigate stairs with a fair bit of ease. The best advice I can give is to ensure you can live on a single level in your home (bed, bath, sit, and eat). Get it done at least a month before the first snow if you don't have an attached garage. You'll need someone at home to help you out to change bandages, cook and clean. Talk the surgeon into double the amount but half the strength of the opioids they'll prescribe. That can help wean you off after you heal.

Local for a knee replacement? Brave man he was.

They did my dad's hip when he was 89 or 90, but he was out cold for that!
Brave or crazy I'm not sure which. I guess he was afraid he wouldn't wake up from a general anesthetic but I could not imagine being awake for all that sawing and hammering on my internal parts. I saw him at a funeral last summer when he was 90 and he was saying he can't believe he made it to such an age because he smoked for 50 years and drank two beers every night. I told him, "Sir, you are very inspiring." lol.

That is pretty sobering information there, Old Salt. I thought I would be up and around a lot sooner than that. Definitely food for thought. Thanks a lot for the info. I know from my recent health issues that it's hard to get actual information from doctors so I appreciate the secondhand account.

It's no fun during the recovery, but the long term gain is well worth it.

Having two bad knees I will have two separate recoveries but I think you're right long term it will be worth it. I am a lot more sedentary than I would be otherwise because of the ways my knees restrict me from so much activity so I'm really starting to think it's time. Thanks again for the input.

As I recall, hip replacements actually have a faster and easier recovery than knees, so see if you can get one of those instead. :cheesygrinsmiley:
That is the kind of "helpful" comment I would expect from Mr. S, lol.

Hey Homer, Great Photography, got me wanting to keep up with the simpsons next door. I have been using my phone got a few good ones before I put in the HPS, that light is terrible for pics. Cheers

Thanks for the comments, BudShark. Being retired and in quarantine, I have all the time in the world to monkey around with my pictures so they better be good, LOL. I find blurples a pain for color balance also. My MegaLight though is nicely balanced for pictures thankfully.

I have been kind of sidetracked because being finished filming the life of my last crop in time-lapse I am making a little video outlining my minimalist system. It's a real hoot to do with these programs.
