When 02 gets low, from wet soil or compaction, or possibly saran wrap, all soil nutrients stop becoming available, so whatever the plant is using the most of at the time will show deficiency 1st. It's all in the timing.
Yes I stopped cal/mag. Nute cycling product?Did you stop the calmag at the same time you removed the covers? I would lean into the covers being the issue, but I would keep the calcium antagonism in my mind. I don’t think you would see such quick results if it was the calmag though. Did you use a nutrient cycling microbe product? That could cause a quick turnaround from the calmag.
I think so too.I wonder if that has less to do with wetness and more to do with oxygen? The plastic cover doesn't breathe real well but the bark mulch should be great!

Real Growers Recharge,
Recharge? do you mix it like a tea?
Good point with molasses! Figuring moderation is tough enough in human life, for me anyway, same with these! I'll keep from using it more than one more time then I'll quit it.Thje plant most affected will be done in a few weeks. I wanted to get some microbes back to aerobic life fast. It worked. It was so wet under there I was surprised it didn't stink! Might play with shutting the water off for a day here and there to see about that brix #.Yep a product like this one that you used:
So it’s a little bit more difficult now. Most signs point to Oxygen but applying the recharge also can break up antagonisms and lockouts pretty much on contact. I’d stick to your current course of action since you’re seeing results. Just remember, Recharge has molasses in it, so you’re pumping extra carbs in your microbes aren’t working for. Don’t let them get lazy on you

It's myco, microbes, kelp, and chelators. The molasses is to keep the microbes alive while in solution and allow them to multiply. If you brew it with air stones until it goes foamy, usually about 18 hours, the excess molasses gets eaten and the microbe population increases drastically.Don’t get me wrong, it works great. Its something I would recommend to anyone who can’t brew up their own teas or people like myself who just refuse to brew teas
I have a packet of it I keep in case of emergencies but I haven’t needed it yet. You nailed it anyway, moderation and balance.
I got lazy. When The Rev wrote in his second book that he didn't use much tea I bought into recharge.I should add in that I will brew a tea if there’s an issue. I’m not completely against teas, I just use them as rescue/emergency tools since that’s how I became acquainted with them in the first place.
I prefer to have everything taken care of before I ever even germinate but sometimes stuff happens and you’re forced to remedy a situation.

Does it have brewing instructions?
Hehe, "pretty much" think so. I do think so but time will tell Smokes! I've had such a good run! This is a real good learning experience for me! The Rev soil hasn't had big issues until I asked it to work under water .Nice your on the mend ands got it pretty much figured out as to what happened .

I paid Keff to say that.He does make a fairly big deal about the container and oxygen exchange in the 3rd edition if I remember correctly, and for all the reasons @Gee64 stated. By the time I read it though, it was stuff Gee had told me years ago. I’ve suspected a few times Gee is more than he lets on but have learned a lot regardless
