Ozone never occurred to me but @NickHardy will be trying UVC during lights off, so he'll be able to give some feedback on loss of smell or taste.@InTheShed I read in your thread about your pm issue outside, I had the same issue last couple years and it gets worse and worse and once i had it it wouldn't go away no matter how much I treated and you do know that crap overwinters my neighbors around here breed the shit and inside idk about the uv thing it might kill the flavor because of the uv i ran an ozone to long one time and killed alot of flavor on one plant i had hanging that i got lazy with!
I usually run the ozone for a few hrs in the room in-between rounds after cleaning and sweeping and i use a Austin air purifier as well just in case of any spores especially in the summer infiltrate the area but that's one of the reasons i kinda quit doing it outdoors is because of the pathogen pressure i just couldn't keep up with it even with the harshest fungicide
From reading about UVC delivery 30 minutes per session once a week during dark hours is considered sufficient.@InTheShed I read in your thread about your pm issue outside, I had the same issue last couple years and it gets worse and worse and once i had it it wouldn't go away no matter how much I treated and you do know that crap overwinters my neighbors around here breed the shit and inside idk about the uv thing it might kill the flavor because of the uv i ran an ozone to long one time and killed alot of flavor on one plant i had hanging that i got lazy with!

I put this in my thread but in case you missed it on the subject:From reading about UVC delivery 30 minutes per session once a week during dark hours is considered sufficient.
Just watch your eyes - it puts out gamma ray type damaging light. A normal visible light hurts with burn, UVC actually messes on DNA type level.
They’re pretty cheap - $20’ maybe?
One last thought...are you 100% certain that the plants won't see any of the spectrum those bulbs put out? I don't know if the tested plants were short-day plants. You wouldn't want to gas-lantern your $24 grand worth of crops!
Thank you ill keep an eye out my first try on these LEDs so any help is welcome and you are probably right ill dim em down a bit Cool im interested in how the uv works for that keep me posted if you would ive tried he bi carb alls i can say is that that PM in tenacious shit!!The plants are a lovely shade of green but I'd be remiss if I failed to point out that some of those leaves are getting a bit of a taco shape with leaf edges pointing up. That can be an early sign of light (not heat) stress, so it's something to keep an eye out for.

Me, I'm going to be testing potassium bicarb next for PM, so the battle continues!
