Hempy Headquarters

Man... it's always great to see Laz roamin the halls. Worthy of an old school toast some of Weas's canna wine (go check it out Laz... Weas is doing fun things.)

I've fallen out of love with grow tents as a whole. Since I've done a couple of builds now, the custom made room with real walls provides alot more flexibility and thermal performance. I can mount shelves and lights anywhere. So nice.

I've been background skulking a few threads of interest and weasels is one of them. Always fun stuff going on there. I'm not in love with tents either but they make it easy and convenient to trap smells and maintain darkness. I am pretty excited to be out of them for flowering tho. Itll be nice to grow some monsters again.

Yeah im of the same habit. I keep up with a handful of journals, casually peruse many and try to lend a helping word when i see someone struggling. I would not have time to do a proper journal befitting 420mag as life is unceasing and time is a tricky MFer. I often want to contribute more to this place that has taught me so much but i am hit with pangs of anxiety when i do. I am of the old school "a secret is only a secret if you keep it" mentality and posting my business on the interwebz makes me edgy. It's ridiculous to have to feel that way over growing a plant. I can talk about my legit garden with my friends but i have to omit my favorite plant when i do. Even if my state were fully legal i would still be sketchy. Never know when Big Bro will get an itch and decide to start bringing the hammer down on gardners just cause. Makes me sad. Que sera... Lol damn stardawg sends my brain.

The closet is 4x2x10 and has a dwarf star and a 400w hid for light

Nice. Eight square feet being illuminated by both a 400-watt HID and an LED. I've done eight square feet with only a 400(ish)-watt HPS, and while it wasn't a huge amount of light for the space, it produced a harvest. You should be able to grow just about anything, including 100% sativas, assuming that a large part of your light isn't just bouncing off the rear wall and the doors (due to the "thinness" of the space) and, even then, much of it would still eventually get to the plants.

Happy Sunday everyone!

My #1 DDA is coming along nicely I think. Today is inspection day and although she is growing nicely I couldn't help but notice what I believe to be deficiency spotting on just 3 leaves, all near or at the bottom of the plant. Basically the oldest leaves on her. What do ya'll think?

Hmmmmm nutrient dose you say? I can give you a close estimate. This is per 1/2 gallon of well water. 6-7ml Foxfarm Big Bloom.........4ml Foxfarm Grow Big...........4ml Cal/Mag.......and a schlook of PH up to get me to 6.2

Thanks for the confirmation @Tead and @flashmp3! Beez, you write that you’re using well water. Do you have an analysis? I just want to verify that you don’t have an excess of anything (like iron or sulfur), which might cause issues.

You could try increasing your dose of CalMag by another 2ml, and see if that prevents more leaf damage.
:passitleft:

No analysis of my well water. I'll try bumping up the cal mag for that plant and see if it prevents any further leaves from spotting.

Have tested the water, pH and ppm?

The well water ppm stays pretty close to 185 ppm and the PH hovers right around 7.0

Ppm is kinda high, but notike my 400ish tap water...lol

It's probably fine, but Sue I think, mentioned dbl the calmag, I did in my Hempy and seemed to help
2t per gallon, or 1-1/2t

I hate that I have to cater to a single plant. The other hempy plants all are fed the same exact thing. Perhaps because this one is more advanced it's needs changed?
