I'm not sure there could be a definitive answer to your question. The same plant is going to have roots reach the reservoir quicker in a shorter pot then in a taller pot. So pot height is a variable to be considered.

If your plant is healthy looking then it's roots will eventually reach the reservoir and at that point you'll notice a growth spurt.

@beez0404 is absolutely correct. The pot size also matters a great deal. It was my lazy ash not providing the usual disclaimers - it’s been my experience, your results may vary, yada yada..

One thing I can tell you is to be careful about which auto strains you attempt to start in too big of a hempy container. If they are really slow getting to the reservoir, you could end up with a runt.

doesn't look that bad whatever it is.

hazard a guess at slight mag or very early potassium. could be sulfur if only on top / new growth. if the mc works as claims then a little bump in nutes should take care of it. just had my own issues with advanced nutrients. didn't / couldn't figger it out. flushed and bumped nutes slightly, 24 hrs later and all was well.

do you run cal-mag with the mc ? thinking of giving it a try.

I started adding cal-mag @ .5ml a gallon and moved to 1 ml/gal. But this issue started when I started adding cal mag... this is why I am reaching out to headquarters.

I am using the MC 2.0 and it supposed to be a one part catch all(for the most part). I will probably used there flower additives as I am very impressed with this version of MC. I was putting this out there to see what other hempy experienced grower thought. I might have been under feeding with MC before and added cal mag instead of just increasing MC.

On another note I have been working on some simple drawing for a visual hempy representation and putting them in this forum for others to use could help.

Some of the hempy tubes started flush today. I also took some macro shots with an usb microscope.

Flush? In hempy? Or are you referring to a cost-savings period - about a week to a week and a half before harvest - when one can use just plain water, because research has shown that there is no loss of yield as a result?

Have a hit of this nearly year-old cured Kryptonite
:passitleft:

I "flush" in hempy. Feed plain ph'd water for 7-10 days to rinse my media and allow the girl to finish consuming herself.

I've read about feeding right up until harvest if one uses a long dry/cure process. Thing is, my plants barely drink much less eat when they get within a week of harvest, sometimes 2 weeks. And I do not do long cures, just hang drying or the fridge. My stuff just doesnt make it to the jars.

This was yesterday, just the second day of plain water.

A gorgeous plant from the start.11/13 from seed, Mega-Crop and Maxibloom, lava rock hempy, A hair over 9 weeks into flower.

Flush = Finish

I am just feeding plain ph'ed water for the last 10 days to get the plant to start it's senescence. I think I explained the process I use awhile back. I love how the plant reacts to this process that's for sure. The smoothing out of the smoke is just collateral damage...so to speak

that's much better. new jungle just flipped. all is well headquarters, carry on.

@bluter very nice setup. I like the buckets and their drain dishes. Just the right size to get all those girls in there.

yah i got lucky on the plastic shelf units too. three fit perfect. the shelves are adjustable by 2 inch increments, which is pretty handy.

the buckets and drain dishes are dollar store specials. the buckets are from mini desk top type trash cans. just a touch over 2L.

oh yah, the drain dishes are fridge containers lol.

Nice clean set up. :passitleft:

I flush with Hempy when I feel I have created an issue with what I'm feeding and I want to change immediately. Run a gallon of plain pH'd water through then feed with the new mix immediately with another 1/2 gallon to replace anything in the reservoir.

I haven't really done a finishing as the point when I see amber has suddenly happened and I want to stop everything right then. The taste of my buds have always been really nice and smooth so maybe not required in my grows with what I feed.

Happy 420 guys and gals. Here is some pictures of this drain solution I have been working on.
