Ran out of room so flower in solo cups hempy
And hempy makes this sooooo easy to do. I pulled a decent amount out of the solos. When I upped it to a pot that held about 2 cups of perlite I pulled an average of 1 oz per.
A few years back MajorP did a graph of the Osmocote release rates over time. Anyone employing Osmo in a hydro setting should note it. I ran across it while cleaning up my subscribed thread list.

Hit Dollar Tree this morning and scored perfect buckets for $1 each. Went to Big Lots but they only had white and they were $5 each.

FYI. Jack’s Classic veg and bloom work great on hempy. I just add 4 ml cm and 2 ml silica. Ph to 5.8 on my dial.
They love it.
Between reusing perlite and jacks costing virtually nothing at 1/4 tsp per gallon it’s like growing for free

Picked up 2.5 cubic feet of smaller lava rock at Lowe's today. Going to give it a go in coffee can size hempys. Of course I will still run Maxibloom, maybe try a plant or two with my Mega-Crop sample.
It was much easier to go unnoticed hauling this stuff up to my apartment versus having a giant bag of perlite carried up by UPS, or having FedEx try to deliver it to the managers office (true story, they delivered my fan/filter combo to him..)

Don’t know which CM or silica you are using, but if you’re using 20-20-20, this is what that dosing gets you:

I used the 20-20-20 in veg and am using the Bloom booster now. No issues with either.

I’m not used to hydro ferts that contain urea as a nitrogen source. Generally, nitrates, and ammonium to some degree, are considered more suitable. But Jack’s Classic seems to work well enough.
