Got a bunch of older seeds not germinating. I've used water approach, paper towel approach, and straight into soil. No germinating. Any ideas ladies and gentlemen? Thank you

Soak them for 18hrs max in a 10% h202 to water solution.
Then a nice warm dark damp paper towel.
They need warmth, darkness, moisture and Air.

I have found that keeping them cold [stratifying] before soak seems to help too

Line a matchbox with fine sandpaper or make a tube out of sandpaper with the grit to the inside
Cap or hold fingers on the ends and shake

For sure. Ol lady warned me about warmth. Thank you bub. Did soak some n hydrogen peroxide. I believe 3% to some water n some of them crushed under my finger and rest got dumped because they had black after cracking. However I did another batch n got two germinated n gonna wait until tomorrow to plant anymore. I'll keep you fellas posted for sure. Strains are unknown n I believe photos n 5 gallon fabric n this time organic Dr Earth. Same light scheme. Later.

White widow? Not too bad. 1/2 lb. Not bad smoke either tbh but aphids wrecked havoc...bitches. Lol. Still not bad. I created them lmao

If you can see a tap root get it into some soil asap, not too wet
I only soak seeds until they swell and start to split

They can drown if left too long.
I'm probably in the area of 57 out of 60 beans since starting the greenhouse.
10% h202 in water, just the cheap dollar store stuff a 3% bottle of h202.
18 hrs soak max, then I use that water to soak the paper towel.
Once I see a tap root I sprinkle it with DYNOMYCO and plant it.
