Hello Everybody From Northern Minnesota

Oh yeah....44 sounds nice. My power went out and RH in the tent was up to 75 when I left the house. I think a lot of people never go below 50 but your mould and powdery mildew occur less frequently if you can keep it a tad lower. Someone showed me a chart the other day that never had the RH dropping below 55. So there are benefits both ways I’m sure. Just gotta be more cautious of those things the higher it is.

Thanks, I needed to hear that. I'm going to stock up on those damp-rid refills.
(Cheap insurance)
I thank you and everyone else for turning me on to those. I hope that I can pay foreword in the future and pass the information on to others.

Here's the indoor rating without fans.
Scary isn't it.
We have just about zero humidity in the winter months, which if not treated will crack your skin all to he**.

Higher humidity isn't the end of the world John. The key to higher humidity is air flow. I grow throughout the summer in the Bay State and I think our weather is about the same throughout most of the seasons (though you guys generally get a bit colder). I have grown in the last two summers and many times my numbers look just like yours does. Hell I know my RH is about 72% outside right now and not much better inside. The key is get those fans moving and keep your plants leaves in check. The plants love high humidity and grow insanely in the summer. Its only dangerous at the end of flower if you don't have the fans constantly going.

Think about where a lot of these plants came from. Many came from Asia, South America, and Africa. All those places can be brutal as far as environmental conditions. They can take much more extremes than we think they can. I have friends growing in greenhouses where the temps can get over 100 degrees with over 60% humidity. But they keep great air movement and have no issues.

If you are worried about the summer grows is something you could address with growing less plants and leaving more room for fans and better air movement. Or keep the plants smaller. Mites are a bigger threat to most growers in the summer than the higher RH.

Agreed, I read those.
How can his wife go to sleep next to that creepy guy at night?
She sleeps in a very big house in a nice comfy bed with a very large bank account.......that tends to make a lot of ladies much more willing to overlook short comings!

Seems that my RH is a challenge since I watered them 71%.
Now since I have the much larger containers, it's time to figure out how to get it down before flower.
Your RH will spike after every watering. Just keep the fans on and you and your plants will be fine brother!

Excellent Mr Stank, thanks for the encouragement.
My temp. is 82*F and RH down to 41. As far as keep the amount of useless leaves and the number of plants per square foot of my growing space I totally agree with you. Two is better than three in my tent.

Green Day's to you and everyone. :rollit:

I just don't know.

How long does haying go on for John? How much land do you have to cover?
Weird girls are OK, as long as they produce a weird high that takes care of your pain :)
Work safe out there and enjoy your day sir!.

The good news is underneath the top flower's are a bunch of little flower's.

Haying goes from end of June to the end of September. I'm during out there bouncing my body around. Yuck! Seriously thinking of giving the land back to its self and letting it go natural. I'm checking to see how much of a tax break I will get for doing this. I know it's a ten year contract/obligation. I'm just not healthy enough to keep doing this every year.
Thanks for stopping in and hearing my lastest pain rant. Sorry.

Balderdash! it helps when you can rant. I wouldn't know, but I can only imagine talking about the pain can only make you feel somewhat better. It's good to rant here as others have the same pains as you and everyone understands. I personally tip my hat off to you for enduring the daily pain to meet your obligations, but in the end your body tells you when enough is enough. You just have to read the signs, like the girls when they want attention.

Oh my, lots of bud sites on this one. Looks good bro.
The damp-rid was supposed to last 30-60 days, they lasted 4 days.
I don't know what to do with the runt. I'm running good Rh with just fans and the runt not being inside without the damp-rid. RH 41
I kinda feel sorry for the little girl but when I put her back in the RH spikes back up to 60. I'm learning towards making her an orphan and taking my changes outside. I I know there's a t-storm coming I put her in the mud room. If I didn't the intense rain would beat her to death.
Whatcha think? Next month new tent! I'm thinking 48x60x80.
That way I can put my dehumidifier n with no problems. I'm still going to only be growing two plants.

Thanks man.

Tough call. I still think the humidity should be fine as long as you have good circulation under the canopy to keep that moist air moving. If you have a good air flow coming in from outside then most of the moisture is always going to be moving around. You just need to be extra cautious for mold appearing on the buds. If you see mold starting you can always remove the mold and the plant outside at that time. I really don't have enough experience to guide you correctly, but I would go that route if it was me. The bigger tent will definately help with the RH but it could still be a smaller issue after hearing about your location.

I live alone in the middle of nowhere, the great part is I have 3 spare bedrooms.
With that being said, I think I could just get the larger tent for $20.00 bucks more. I think this state will go recreational very soon, then I'd be a small step ahead of the game with a larger tent. Plus being able to put a reg in it that can take care of 1,700 square feet would take care of my RH problem. Being in kilowatt hell is why I can't afford to dehumidify the intire home.
Remember doing this on a fixed income but happy.
